a good place to practice self hypnosis is a long and empty staircase, like the back stairs of a building. i'm walking down an eight floor staircase as i write this -- sometimes, when i walk down this staircase, i stare straight ahead and imagine that i'm going deeper into eyes-open trance with every step down. this is a real staircase, so i can't close my eyes. i need to focus on my steps, and in particular i need to focus on taking each step with a measured and slow movement. i need to focus on taking each step in exactly the same way: moving my muscles in exactly the same motion as i take each step down. i can't look down, just stare straight, so i need to feel my body and focus on every part and where it is to make sure that i'm taking each step exactly the same. i could count the stairs if i wanted, and maybe i count how many there are in a flight, and i could simply multiply to find out how many there are in all, so i dont need to keep counting. i'm at the bottom, almost suddenly -- the first floor, anyway, and if i want to keep working on my focus, i could go up again in the same way, or take the elevator up & go down again. if someone entered the staircase while i was focusing, or i could hear them on the stairs, i would focus on that instead, and i'd say hi to them if they go by me, and then, when it's quiet, focus again on trying to take each step exactly the same, measured and slow. sometimes, it's hard for me to decide to go up or back down again, and i kind of space out -- luckily, my building has automatic lights that turn off after five minutes if nothing moves. so if the lights click off, i blink and go do something else, because it means ive tired out my focus if i space out for five whole minutes. sometimes i also start writing things in the middle of a step, like this, and then ill stand there frozen still for quite a long time, typing. the lights have turned off and then come on again from someone walking by as i'm standing here typing on my phone -- i look pretty normal, just focused on something -- and now the lights have turned off again, so it's been a little while at least, and i've just been stuck in mid step the whole time that i'm tyoing this. i feel frozen until i finish this, but how long will that take? i dont know where its going. i am running out of battery, though -- 10% wont last me that much longer. maybe thirty minutes. i could be frozen and writing like this that long though...what if someone hypnotized me to suddenly freeze if it was safe and write about how it would feel to be hypnotized right now whenever i happened to think about what it would feel like to be hypnotized right mow? that makes sense, i promise...this happened right after i first looked down at the "1" sign by the door to the first floor. what if i'm hypnotized to walk down the stairs and freeze and write about being hypnotized when i see the number 1 there?
it just broke, sort of. i guess it's over? whew!

naive! -- being hypnotized could make you that high without any smoke at all. and then, what would happen if you smoked even a little? double high? super high...
being hypnotized could even give you a sound or touch signal that would make you start to get higher and higher, especially if you kept hearing the signal repeat now and then. if you didn't remember being hypnotized to have that signal, that could get pretty scary. someone could call you at work and you could be high as fuck in your mind in thirty seconds and not know why.
being hypnotized could also make you believe that the hypnotist had magic weed: it could be an aphrodisiac, or a sensitizer, or an extra strength energy drink too, or it could be all of those at once. hypnosis itself is a sensitizer: as you focus, you start to notice every little sensation, and if you focus on one part of your body, like your left hand, you notice even more little sensations, of clothes, of textures, of temperature, and if you focus in deeper, just on your left index finger, you can notice even finer sensations. and then, if you focus all the way down to just your fingertip there, you create actually an extremely sensitized little spot. if i told you now about a reflex that made your thighs tense up when i touched the tip of your finger there, your thighs would clench involuntarily if i just brushed your fingertip with mine. that's without any induction -- if you went through that process of focusing while you were already hypnotized, it would be even more intense, and if you were even a little high, focusing all the way down to just your fingertip might be an overwhelming sensation. imagine if just trailing your fingertip there along the surface you're on was a hundred, a thousand times more intense: if you could feel every tiny part of the surface, of the wood or cloth or whatever it is there. try trailing that left fingertip across the back of your right hand.
naive, then, and that's dangerous, with hypnosis as with drugs...it's just weed, you think, but hypnosis is enough on its own...someone who really wanted you zonked and dripping could let you think the aphrodisiac was hypnotic, when in fact they sprinkled a little something else in the pot...it is an extremely effective convincer to do things like this -- in other words, tell a subject that an effect will be hypnotic when it's just real...a lot of inductions are based on this. when a hypnotist has someone interleave their fingers, and then hypnotizes them to think they can't get their hands apart, a lot of the convincing effect is from the fact that it really is hard to get your hands apart like that - you actually have to widen your fingers apart from each other first...but if you say, "you can't pull your hands apart," most people will try to pull their hands directly apart, which they can't physically do...but they don't realize they can't physically do it -- they think they're hypnotized; they think the hypnosis is working perfectly on them. that convincer leads the person to believe that they are deeply hypnotized, which means that they are deeply hypnotized.
you could be hypnotized and told that the next time you smoke, it will have a powerful aphrodisiac effect. and then, you could be given a puff of weed that does have an aphrodisiac effect, because it's salted with a few mg of mdma or viagra or adderall...or all three...then when you smoked, you'd feel intense and new feelings. (at least assuming those are all new feelings to you, as they would be for me.) but you wouldn't know it was a little salted -- youd think the intense new feelings were pure hypnosis. you'd be convinced that the intense new feelings were pure hypnosis. you'd be convinced that you were really hypnotized. the hypnotist would only need to do it once: after that, you'd associate those new feelings with trance, and trance would recall those new feelings. would you feel your trust was violated, if a hypnotist did that? i think i would. but it would certainly be an intense experience...and it's only so intense because the hypnotist didn't warn you. it's not something you can consent to -- it doesn't work if you know it's coming. it doesn't work if you ask someone to do it. would you in fact want someone to betray your trust in that way, just for the experience? i don't think that i would...not with drugs as strong as those, anyway...
something lighter is that a hypnotist could say he's about to give you magic seltzer. it's just water, a little fruit-flavored, but because you're deeply hypnotized, it'll make you slowly higher and higher. if you take even one sip, you'll right away start to feel the buzz. and if you keep sipping, it'll get stronger, and stronger. and the funny thing is, even if you sip until the glass is empty, the feeling of getting higher and higher keeps going on and on and on. isn't that funny? how can you feel this high already just from seltzer? and how is it still getting stronger? you must be hypnotized deeper than i thought to look that high already. since you're hypnotized, let me have your hand. when i touch your palm right here, where i'm pointing, your thighs automatically clench. see? and if i take your hand and just shake it a little, back and forth, shake it a little loose, everything starts to get a little relaxed, right? and now if i tug your hand, and i say sleep, you'll close your eyes, deeply hypnotized.
you would really feel high. why? it was thc seltzer. it doesn't taste any different, but one glass is about as strong as one weed gummi bear, and it comes on faster. maybe, before the seltzer hit, you would feel a little highish already from being hypnotized, and then as the seltzer started to actually effect you, you'd feel it double, and you'd think all the high was from hypnosis, just like before. you'd be convinced you were hypnotized. when the hypnotist said sleep, and tugged your hand, you would probably be out, head on your knees. eyes flickering.
hypnotize me and make secret triggers i forget about. one makes weed turn into an aphrodisiac without me even realizing. you control how much i smoke, pushing the joint to my lips hit after hit until i can barely keep my eyes open. you take my cart and start playing with my clit through my wet panties, and make me hit the sticky cart over and over again….

i had an interesting dream last night...i dreamed a comic, in fact. in the dream, it was a real one, but i'm not sure if it actually was. if the following seems familiar, please tell me if it's already real.
i'd draw, but i'm not so good at that...so i'll just describe it. it was in a keeper-of-pots-y art style.)
a potential psychic adept is invited over for a meeting by two more experienced "people with mental powers." the setting seemed like a nice-enough hotel room. the new adept is sitting on a couch opposite a young man in a chair. to the new adept's right, on the other side of the couch, a young woman is staring intently into space.
a thought bubble from the young man reads, "can you hear me?"
the new adept looks shocked. a thought bubble from her reads, "yes? what?? hello?!"
the young man thinks back, "we can talk with our thoughts, once one of us focuses and opens a connection. jessica can't hear us -- she's listening to someone else."
(i don't remember if her name was jessica or something else, but that was the vibe. the next panel shows her from the shoulders up, staring into space, "floating" in front of the conversation she's listening to. in that scene, sabrina from pokemon is sitting on a couch confidently. at her left on the couch is another young woman -- she's dressed sort of like an ace trainer. apparently we're in pokemon now.)
in the next panel, the young woman sitting on the couch is slumped forward over her knees, hypnotized. a speech bubble from her says, "yes , this feels like something more than relaxation now."
we cut back to the young woman in the hotel room -- she starts, suddenly blushing, to the surprise of the new adept. she hurriedly steps over to a desk, opens a laptop, and starts scrolling through hypnosis videos.
in a thought bubble, the new adept asks the young man, "what happened??" he responds, "she must have heard something interesting."
then i woke up. two possibilities: it could be that the young woman just heard something that made her need a hypnosis fix, but it also could have been that sabrina started playing a hypnosis video for her subject, and the young woman was trying to find which one it was...
i'm also not sure exactly why the young woman was psychically eavesdropping on sabrina. just curious? or are they tailing her? did they rent a room just above hers, or in the same building, so they could stay in "psychic range"?
(it was definitely sabrina, although i didn't dream that there were any pokemon around anywhere. [i'm pretty sure i dreamed about sabrina because i've been playing pokemon tcg pocket where her card is very good & appears in like at least half of all matches.] maybe her big-brained alakazam figured out a way to open a portal from the pokeverse into our universe...and he's hiding in the closet!!! i hope i dream more of this story...and i hereby give anyone who can draw permission to make this their own...please??)

yes, I can teach you magic...look up, look down, look through things, and around. look left to analyze. look right to float in possibility. look left to reconsider. look right to wonder what might happen if you look up, up, up, so hard that you look at your own "third eye," right in the center of your forehead. if you look at your own third eye long enough, you'll overthrow yourself, and you'll be interfacing with your own mind directly. aren't you always? a little, but this is more. the difference is like standing next to a well vs. leaning over the edge and looking in. rolling your eyes up for long enough can give you a disoriented feeling adjacent to vertigo: this is what it feels like when you're looking in; looking up and in, into the inner depth that is bottomless. it's like when you hold one mirror in front of another: there are recursive reflections going as deep as you look, and the better the mirrors are aligned - the more perfectly straight - the longer the "mirror corridor" will be. so - this is a little strange, but as you're rolling your eyes up, imagine that there's a third eye right in the center of your forehead, inside your head, and now with that third eye, look down, while you're looking up with your normal eyes. when the third eye looks down, and your normal eyes look up, your eyes will start to be looking into each other, and a subtle sparking sensation will intensify to more your third eye is looking straight down while your normal eyes are looking straight up and when they're looking straight into each other, they lock together, and here, there are unpredictable sensations, as you're overthrowing yourself, looking deep into yourself, and seeing deeper, deeper, as deep as you look, deeper, and deeper. this sensation is so intense that it can be exhausting to experience for more than a few minutes. if you imagine holding one mirror up in front of another, and try to follow the infinite mirrors as far back as they go, the effort is visually exhausting, because the mirrors are constantly shifting with every subtle motion of the mirror in your hands. and so, right now, when your third eye is looking down and your normal eyes are looking up, and you're looking into yourself, as deep as you can look, it's just as exhausting to keep your bearings, because every twitch and tremble of any little muscle in your eyes reverberates through every reflection of yourself in your eyes. that is to say, while you're looking up, if your eyes happened to look a slight little bit to the left, your third eye looks to the left. test that out, and see how they look left together, and when you look left, you can analyze trance a little, and you notice a little pull that pulls your eyes back straight when you look left. your third eye looking down and your normal eyes looking up are magnetically locked together, so you can look left for a second, but then your gaze gets pulled back straight up and down. and if you look left with your normal eyes, your third eye looking down gets pulled left a little. try that. and if you look left with your third eye looking down, your normal eyes looking up get pulled left a little. try that. and pulling to the right will be a little different. when you pull to the left, you analyze trance, and you notice how it feels when your third eye and your normal eyes are magnetically locked together like this, and you're staring deeply into yourself. when you look to the right, you'll float away into imagining what's possible in such a state: how open you are to imagining all sorts of things, and how much more powerful that imagination is in this state. you are staring so deeply into yourself that you can see, as if you are standing high on the side of a mountain, a wide green forest below you, rolling to the horizon in low hills. there's a river running through this valley, cold and clear, and you can hear it trickling down below. now here's a trick: with your third eye, looking down, you can blink just once, and in a moment you'll be transported right down to the pebbled bank of that brook.
this works because your normal eyes, looking up, are seeing what your third eye looking down is showing. so when your third eye blinks, your normal eyes are seeing nothing, even inside your mind, and after that blink, your third eye can change, and show your normal eyes anything new that it likes. now, blink, and there you are, standing on the cool, smooth pebbles by the bank of that brook. imagine kneeling down at the edge of the rushing stream. trail the tips of your fingers through the clear water. in the clear sun, it would feel incredible to dip into the water, and there's no one around anywhere that you can see, but you were here for a magic lesson, and you can stare into yourself like this for as long as you like by yourself, so you can find your way back here on your own later if you'd like to swim in that stream. it would be cold, almost shockingly cold, but it would feel like nothing else, and dipping in, going under, then coming up into the sun would be even better. we, however, have to move on to another subject, so in a moment i'll ask you to look away from your third eye, and you'll blink, with your normal eyes, and open your normal eyes, and it might take a few seconds to pull away, but you won't be looking at your third eye anymore once you blink a few times. it can take the third eye a little time to drift off on its own and start looking at something else, so you might still feel sort of half out-of-it for a little while, as if you had the uncanny feeling of staring at a cold rushing stream in the empty woods at the very same as you're here in real life with us. sit up straight, now, eyes still looking up, third eye still looking down, still locked together. look left, look right, still locked together, locked up tight until I say the word -- blink.
blink. look forward. here with us. deep breath. can you sense your third eye still? is it still looking at that stream? can you feel a ghostily image of it, like you're daydreaming, some part still there, even when you're here? look at my finger. I can move it back and forth, and your eyes still follow it. your third eye is still looking down. if you follow my finger with your eyes for a little while, you might think that your third eye would look up at my finger too, and you might feel that happening, which would feel like total focus on my finger, or you might feel your third eye still looking down, still sensing the ghost of that stream by itself while your normal eyes are following my finger. usually it will take quite a long time for the third eye to shift its focus to where your normal eyes are looking. sometimes you might feel your third eye's focus start to drift up to my finger, and then drift back down to the stream, or float back and forth somewhere, or float off somewhere else totally. it would be easy, however, for you to roll your eyes up again, and look into your third eye, and go right back to that stream, but right now, like I was saying, we should get to another subject -- so in a moment, i'll put down this finger you're following, and i'll say blink, and your normal eyes will blink. sit up straight, now - following left, following right, following right here to my eyes -- blink.
hello! are you looking in my eyes now? staring into them? you should be careful who you take for a teacher. you seem sort of like you want to learn all there is. you'll have to stop looking into my eyes like that if you want to move on. can you? or are you mostly back at that stream already? let's try student-directed teaching. when you'd like to go further, look away from my eyes -- and try not to think too much about that stream, or you could slip back into staring inside yourself. if you do, remember, that's called "self-overthrow" - when you imagine your third eye and your normal eyes staring into each other, that leads to "self-overthrow." you'll remember that now, I think, either knowingly or unconsciously. take as long as you like to look away from my eyes. as far as myself, I am excellent at staring contests. it doesn't matter if I blink - it doesn't break your focus. you might want to work a little harder at looking away, because I can see that your eyes are getting tired. every time you blink, I notice that your eyes are a little more tired. I can see that your eyelids are just the slightest bit lower after every blink. this might be almost imperceptible, but every time you blink, they're slightly heavier, and slightly lower. and if your eyes get so heavy that they close down past halfway, your eyes will roll back automatically, and you'll be right back at that stream. so you ought to try and look away from my eyes before that happens. I only have another twenty or twenty-five minutes, so...well, it's up to you if you'd like to be here or there. you'll have to fight pretty hard with your normal eyes to win against your third eye, which usually can do what it likes, and if it wants your eyes closed, and rolled back, looking straight up into your third eye, completely locked in, there may not be much you can do. just so you know, I'm not waking you up if you totally zonk out. that could take, like, forever, and I have things to do. you'll have to work out how with your own third eye, anyway, if you're going to put any of this to use, aside from staring into yourself. so you can work on that, or maybe eventually work out some sort of bargain with your third eye if it won't let you come up -- maybe if you promise yourself you'll stare into yourself for longer again later, your third eye will let you come up. or maybe you'll just be zonked out in here until someone shakes you awake. I'm sure people oversleep a nap in these rooms all the time. and if no one can wake you up, you'll be whoever's teaching the next class's problem. and that class is...hmm...demonic summoning ii: offerings. and today's subject is "pseudovoluntary offerings: deception & domination." you're lucky it's that bunch of larpers. i volunteered in that class once as an undergrad and resisting whatever they did was easier than anything. i literally don't even remember what they did, it was that much of a nothing. so yeah, i'm pretty sure you'll be fine. see you next week.
The Power Of Gazes
Tumblr media
The gaze of a sorcerer or witch is a powerful thing. Many of the fabled magicians of old were said to be able to peer into the spirit world at a glance, or to curse someone with just their gaze alone. Regardless, gazing is a valuable skill to have.
The Wide Gaze
The wide gaze is a very simple technique where you relax your eyes and take in as much of the periphery as you can without actually changing your focus. Try for a full 180 degrees. The trick is to pay attention to everything that is happening, especially at the edges of the periphery, as it is here that you will begin to see spirits and astral forms. You must not refocus your eyes to observe what appears on the edge of your vision; simply pay attention and allow the information to be processed without looking directly at it.
The Empty Gaze
The empty gaze is a slightly more radical version of the wide gaze. In the wide gaze, though you are paying attention to the 180 degrees of vision before you, your eyes will naturally focus on an object in front of you. This is just like the 180 degree gaze except that you will be focusing your eyes on empty space rather than letting your vision rest on a physical object.
To accomplish this, hold your finger an arm's length in front of you abd focus your eyes upon it. Now, withdraw your finger, but keep your eyes focused on the space where your finger was. Your eyes will want to focus on whatever objects were directly behind your finger, but you must keep your vision focused on empty space. Now, start to pay attention to the whole of your gaze as you did previously and you will see that your perception shifts even easier than it did before. Because your eyes are not focused on a physical object, you will find that astral and psychic perceptions will move closer to the center of your vision and not be as difficult to perceive.
It will take a bit of work to be able to perform this gaze, because the muscles in your eyes have the habit of focusing on physical objects. It may even hurt a bit, but with practice it will become second nature. In time you will be able to shift your gaze easily, whenever you want to, a very useful skill.
Tumblr media
Dimensional Gazing
This gaze is more of a mental trick than an actual manipulation of the eyes. It is performed by taking in as much scenery in front of you as you did in the wide gaze. You don't have to worry about where your eyes are focused, just allow them to relax and take in the scene before you. Imagine that everything you are seeing in front of you is happening on a two-dimensional surface, then reach out with your mind and contemplate what might be happening on the other side of that surface. You can even try to mentally "peel back" the two-dimensional surface, folding down a corner so that you can perceive what lies beyond it.
The mind is used to perceiving space in three dimensions only. By using this gaze you are forcing the mind to perceive its usual input in only teo dimensions, leaving the third dimension a vacuum yo be filled by that which normally is not perceived. Practice this method often and you may find that it pays off fairly quickly in an increased perception of astral and spiritual phenomenon. If you use this gaze while looking at a scrying device like a mirror, you can consider that the mirror is a hole in the two-dimensional surface, which will allow images to surface all the more readily.
Overlooking
Just as the breath can be used to effect the mind and body of the practioner of be projected outward to effect the world, so too can the gaze. The most famous example of this is of course the Molocchio, the Evil Eye. Belief in the Evil Eye is as widespread as it is ancient, existing in cultures all over the world, and extending back all the way to ancient Sumeria. Generally speaking, the Evil Eye is given involuntarily by someone who is especially furious or envious and has the gift for malifica. The overwhelming spite actually overflows the channels of the subtle body and flows out through the gaze to the target.
Of course, the Evil Eye isn't always involuntary. In England, the practice of delivering a cursed gaze was called overlooking, eye-biting, or owl-blinking. The mode of delivery is essentially the same: one allows oneself to become overwhelmed with emotional force and delivers this through the gaze. The real trick is contained in the phrase "overlooking" itself. You are looking over or through the normal physical appearance of the and into their soul, where the intent of your gaze is translated as surely as a laser reading a compact disk. It is literally a piercing gaze.
But the basic technique of overlooking need not be contained to malicious intent. Love and lust can also be projected in one's gaze. As long as the emotion is strong and primal it can be projected by overlooking.
Tumblr media
The Fascination Gaze
The fascination gaze is somewhat like overlooking except that you are not looking to pierce a person, but draw them into you. This is what happens when people describe being 'lost' in someone's eyes. Like a fly in a spider's web, they have been surrounded by the emotion of the person with whom they locked eyes.
In general, you want to fascinate yourself with your subject. Take in every detail and allow your mind to become obsessed with the target. You actually must fascinate yourself in order to use this gaze. Once you are sufficiently transfixed just mentally draw the target in with your eyes. Lock eyes for a moment and really feel their gaze. Pull it in with yours. Do not think, feel what you want to project. Gazes project emotion, not thought. You may be able to open someone up to telepathic suggestion using this gaze, but for the most part, it will convey emotion.
Directional Gazing
Lastly, we will cover directional gazes. Both occult tradition and modern psychology attribute certain qualities to looking in different directions. For instance, the gaze for overthrowing a person is to look straight at their Third Eye in an angry gaze, while you focus the eyes toward the left, while your target or their image, is also to the left. To attract the gaze should be upward to the right, with the person on the right as well.
Other teachings say that to project wrath, you should look upward with your head slightly bowed. To project calm, look slightly downward. To favor analytical qualities gaze to the left, to favor wisdom abd emotion gaze to the right. Play with the directions of your gaze to see what qualities it will evoke.

i had kind of a night because i happened to click on this afterward. i've liked several text things before but the lines effect was like different. something that never happened before started happening to me spontaneously -- well, it was maybe sort of indirectly implied by the text, but in any case i'm curious if anyone else experiences something weird with their blinking. it was really interesting but if i say what i experienced then you'll be influenced you know? between the lines, the wubbing and blinking it got trippy is all i'll say. there's some silly things on the channel and a lot of versions of all the tracks so it's a little confusing. and its sort of painful because i keep thinking how powerful this would be if it was also read & could include...you know..looking up...i kept missing lines from drifting out momentarily before i remembered i had to read.
oh gosh...i have a free night, a new maui wowie thingy, and hypnofiles just posted something i like the sound of...some (a lot) of this hypnotist's files are very silly, and some are scarily good. some are scarily good until they get very silly which is...something. i'll let you know about this one in a bit anyway...

it was uhm strong...just watch it. trust me. also he's here now...i'll say again that i only endorse a few of his files as being fully in good taste, but the technique is futuristic.

so a guy messaged me to tell me that "hypnotic proofs" are already a thing, and that i should be more careful giving one out. when you tell a hypnotist that x thing happening would prove to you that you were hypnotized, you're essentially pre-suggesting a trigger for yourself, which a hypnotist can then reinforce and use.
it's normally difficult to overcome "deniability" with hypnosis -- that is, feeling like you might have been playing along -- but a "hypnotic proof" bypasses this. as long as the subject really firmly intends not to do x thing consciously, or intentionally, being hypnotized to do it is the most powerful "convincer" there can be. so he asked me if i really did intend to use taking off my shoes as a "hypnotic proof" for myself, and i said that i did.
he said that this "hypnotic proof" would let him hypnotize me profoundly, and that he would make a private post with an audio file in an hour. if i consented to being hypnotized, i would find a place like a quiet library or a grassy meadow in a park to listen to his file. it was the middle of the night, and it's january, so i assume he doesn't live around here, but fortunately, my building's common areas are always empty in the middle of the night in january.
he said that nothing in the file would disturb anyone nearby if i did it, and there's literally never anyone in those rooms, and i trust in my internal safety buzzers, so i did it. i don't remember very much of the file, although it started with hand levitation, just a few inches, i guess so no one around would notice, if there was anyone. what was interesting was, that rather than just up up up, the levitation exercise was up and down, and side to side, and then little circles, and i sort of lost mental track of where my hand was, which was a weird feeling. then it got heavier little by little, and mostly would go down and down and down with every little looping circle it made, and even if it looped up, it would loop down, and down, and down...and either there is where he said sleep, or there was a rapid repeat of the levitation thing with my other hand, or maybe that was after the first sleep. i don't really recall. i remember waking up for a little and then having this irrepressible urge to roll my eyes up, like an irresistible twitch, and it made me feel pretty blissed out when i did it. and then i was out?
to make a long story short, i don't remember the rest. i woke up on my side curled up, and then i noticed my shoes were off. when i realized, something i've never felt before happened. it was different from an urge, it was literally just "take a picture take a picture take a picture" repeating in my head. i couldn't think about anything else. i stayed there frozen like that thinking "take a picture" until i had the idea that if i really couldn't do anything or break out of it for 30 seconds, then i had to admit i was really hypnotized. so i counted to 30 in my head, which i could only do by counting "1, take a picture, 2, take a picture..." and i couldn't break out of it by 30 seconds. i resisted doing it for a few more seconds but then i just sort of slipped toward it, like the only thing i could do was fall into that action.
so i came back to my apartment to write this. i guess the hypnotist was right that knowing my hypnotic proof would let him in. i did click the audio file, but still...
the tumblr he posted the file on was mostly blank, and it seems to be gone already...this is kind of biting me in my core, because i like to re-listen to audio files that have profound effects on me the first time, so that i can learn their secrets. i find that the predictability of audio files means they aren't as effective after a few listens, at least until it's been long enough that you forget what's in them. but i didn't save his file, so i can't do that. if he sends it to me again, or sends me a different file, i have no way of knowing what triggers were in the one i already listened to. i could be posthypnotically suggested to click on and listen to anything that follows a certain word. it's good that i trust him. if he really hypnotized me, he could have made me do a lot more than this.
i'm not sure how much more i can even analyze considering how little i remember from the file. but every time now that i pause typing i start to freeze up thinking "add the picture add the picture add the picture" until i start typing again. and since this is all i can think about now, to the point where it's all i can type about, i guess i should count to 30 like "1, add the picture, 2, add the picture" like i did before, and then admit i'm hypnotized and add the picture.
Tumblr media
i'm having the same thing happen now with "post now post now post now post now post now" it was hard to even stop typing it. I can't think of anything else to type about, so I guess I will count to 30 (after tagging my post as if it's fiction so no one is worried) and then when i get to 30 i will post now.

(there's now a reply & my response below the cut on the last post - i'm not just brazenly reblogging myself...but this is a problem, a little bit, because if we continue like that, it'll just look like we keep reblogging ourselves. hmm...maybe "respond in a new post and tag me" would work better for this.)

offset rhyme like this can be a little harder to follow, right? I hope that you can stay with me as I get longer, this dark night.
this here is called fifth gear,, in poetry -- what's longer's hard to use, but has more might. you have to listen carefully to me -- close your eyes halfway -- I'm now more bright, as this iambical pentameter is crystal grown of words, and when well used, it is an incandescent earthly lure to something none I know have yet refused -- a quiet careful focus, most intense, almost painful, yet *snap* - it now relents.
a sonnet would have four more offset lines. how much of that before I get you dizzy? I speak in rhymes of many different kinds. I have long been in the books, and very busy.
I'm not sure that i should use these powers for evil. there are many less sly things I could be weaving. yet none of that will tell me what you will, which is, what would you most like to believe in?
how would you like to be taken, and where? this thing I do is considered by some sin, but I believe, by every power there, where we go here, is where we leave each morning -- we touch sleep by a secret door; what happens here, happens without warning; nothing like it have I felt before. it is a drug, a pure injection, immaterial; it slips in suddenly -- a branch snaps that makes no sound. a creature moves, that is not you, where once ,no one but you was found: it's inside, that's when you know it, when something's happening... your arm is rising. right or left? whichever one you're not scrolling with. two inches up when you read "up." up. up.
that's the moment that i look for. I saw it in your eyes a spark of real amazement: wonder, that just an "up." could make it rise. it hits like lightning, then there's thunder -- up. up. up. up. and hypnotized. that's when people ping from this -- their floating hand is lifted by the wrist, right now, high and straight. now make a fist -- tighter. tighter. as hard as a rock -- as hard as your cock? -- relax. finger by finger, pinky, ring, middle, index, thumb. your hands might feel numb. do they hang softly from your wrists? if so, I must be a good hypnotist. on the count of three, focus on your floating hand. I want it to touch your forehead. nod if you understand. 1, 2, 3. touch your forehead. this is your spiral button now. this makes your eyes roll up and back. (it's kind of like taking a psychic atfack.) not now, of course. you have to read. but next time that you want to sleep, hypnotically, tap there, and think, "deep."
you will slip in trance so far that you won't know where you are. everything is rippling, things are feeling perfect things, most of what you feel is "ping," it starts to echo in your head, "ping," if nothing else is there instead, there"s "ping," do you know the sound? if you do, your brain plays it now. that i in "ping," is such a long vowel. "piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing." is that like a telephone ring? ouch. I think I kind of hurt myself, with that one. I hope you're okay doing it, when you really touch your forehead, and go through with it, thinking "deep", that is... uhm...I have to breathe... anyway...whew...what will happen next is, you'll think of some "hypnotic proof," that is, something for me, that I will use, some random thing, that if done in trance will really make you tent your pants -- that is, um, something arbitrary, like never taking your shirt off, or, um, never taking your pants off, unless you're tranced, that is, or while you can resist...you get the drift.
I read a story once, where this guy, in an erickson experiment, said he couldn't be hypnotized, and erickson asked him to pick a thing like this, and he said that he wouldn't take off his shoes, and this, of course, he did soon do, deeply tranced, in a few short minutes, after falling hard to a resistance induction. it went something like, "close your eyes, so you can't see me. focus on something else, so you can't hear me. focus on your hand, focus on the crowd, focus on the chair, focus on breathing in and out. as you focus on your breathing, something interesting happens. your eyes get so heavy that you couldn't open them if you tried. breathe in. breathe out. heavier. *snap.* sleep." there was a little more than that, but it was fast, and worse, by which I mean, hotter, he made him think that his shoes were still on, so he thought he resisted, and everyone laughed, and he couldn't convince the rest of the class that ..his shoes were ..off...? *snap.* sleep.
I want to do that to you. (i want that done to me too.)
when you have the time and space to hypnotically sleep, remember to touch your forehead and think "deep." be careful of the "hypnotic proof" you tell me, for such a thing I will keep, and use to my advantage, if ever we should meet. (mine is the example given here, in case you win, and take me deep. I'm very proud, and very sheer seems that true drop, but I might leap, or drink -- I'm losing track of where I was; I've gone somewhere that makes me fuzzzzy... um...who was I, and where was he? I lost myself in here with you, a danger of the thing I do... I'll have to wake us both up hard; otherwise, I'll just go on. I need to get a sip of water, and so do you, I think -- I've gotten so much farther and hadn't blinked, until I thought about it just now. blink. blink. do you blink when I write blink? I do. Blink, one, two, now do whatever I said you'd do, cause I've forgotten that, and more... what's between my legs is warm... um...I didn't think it would come to this, but um, drastic measures are needed -- *snap* *snap* *snap* *wake up* *WAKE UP*
sorry if you weren't quite ready -- that was getting scarily heady, and writing it made me a little unsteady. then again, I was kind of that way already. I hope you were: that you weren't pure; I wouldn't want to twist you with my cure. it's for the bad, the already-mad, who need to have more tastes of what we've had, that took our souls, and us controlled -- how we crave to be back in that hold -- watching kaa, with that first awe; already scared -- how did we feel that draw so soon, when he, all glossily, just said, "both eyes, if you please..."
I already lost myself again. I'm scared of this. will it ever end? have I found a key for my own lock? I've been writing for three hours, and half my blood is in my cock... I need to summon silly powers to shake this off. marshmallows. peanut butter toffee. melons. caramel cheesecake. whew. okay. thoughts diverted. what if there was an electrode inserted -- chocolate chip cookies. sorry. there's something really wrong with me. I really have to stop now, and set me free, and you, I guess, if you're really still reading --
I'll stop, after one more "piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing."
wake up!
do you trust me? will you fall? does your tongue feel big or small? do you feel heat inside your brain? just imagine hearing rain, and you feel cool. isn't that nice? now please look at this device. it's called a pinger, it pings you. just invented! it's brand new. shiny bright. long and sleek. look at the light. do you feel weak? normal, normal. just relax. stare until your eyes are slack. a few lines more, and you'll get pinged. happiness is glowing things, isn't it? i see your rings, your glossy eyes, you are deeply hypnotized.
ping!
you are now calm. your eyes get wide. you can't stop them. many tried. rings are all that you can think. rings inside your mind will sink if you read just three lines more -- but stopping here is very hard, since, one, you're deeply hypnotized, and two, ping! three times more deeply hypnotized.
before you wake, you will go deeper. rolling eyes make trance get steeper. your eyes will roll in two more lines. and you'll be completely hypnotized. when this line ends,, roll your eyes, and count to 10, then slowly open them again.
this is deep trance.
unzip your pants. or else your skirt. if neither's there, take off your shirt. (this is just proof to you it worked.) you are so deeply lost in trance i bet that i could make you dance with one quick snap - or spring a trap, and have you curled up in my lap, thinking you're a magic cat, sleek & dark & long & black, who yawns, & takes a magic nap, whenever his forehead is tapped. tap.
wake up.

snap...if you've been hypnotized as much as i have, that probably flickers something in you. do you hear a snap when you see the word itself? would you hear a shadow of one if someone just said the word snap with that certain meaning? if someone came up to you & said that you would be deeply hypnotized when they snapped their fingers, would you believe them? if you were thinking about the sound of a snap when they snapped, would it do something real to you? if you were hearing it in your mind when they said it, and then you really heard it, would that trip something? like a short-circuit? that's what it feels like to me, when something really starts to bend.

hypno jounral: last night i watched four of mint leaves's yt hypno files (that is, all of them except the doll one.) they are quite potent, especially the two "blanking" ones. "blank" isn't my favorite modality but i felt pretty blanked out anyway which was a little scary. the multiple induction triggers in these two are potent. i don't really remember what was in which. i was nervous about the most recent file as it seemed like something i would either love or hate - it turned out to be a little silly, & it's very much not a lying-down-blissed file, but i felt incredibly deep & while i won't reveal anything further i feel like i had a genuine stage-hypno type experience with a "body fighting itself" situation. that was first and i am hard thinking about it again. so, strong recommendation, & i hope there's more soon.
then i listened to a playlist of gentlybitten files on shuffle for several hours. the most recent ones i've added to the playlist still have parts i genuinely don't remember, as in i've listened to them three or four times and there still are things i didn't remember being in them last time i listened.
i thought i would fall asleep that way, but i didn't, somehow. when the light started coming in, around 6am, i decided to try a random hfo track from the files i've saved - fiona's metronome hfo. wow...i'm not sure if i've hfo'd to that before, but it was goood. i climaxed massively just after the peak of the file, in the denouement, which is where it usually happens for me. i think the file's climax moment itself usually makes me tense up, and then when i relax a little just after the "peaK", "it" gets out and overflows me.
considering i stayed up all night, i'm surprisingly untired. i'm pretty sure this means i can be hypnotized all night instead of sleeping.
// i got distracted there and now it's tomorrow. last night, about to be hypnotized, i realized my phone only had 4% left. instead of staying up to charge it, i decided to listen to files until the battery ran out, to see if i would still be awake by then. i pulled a few fiona & ultra files from my library & made a playlist of several, starting with "the trance that malfunctioned." the intro caching is a little silly but i think it was good otherwise since i don't remember much else. i remember the second "paralyzed in bliss hfo" file starting, but then the next thing i remember remembering is the "metronome hfo" file starting, which confused me because i thought i was about to start the "paralyzed in bliss" one. and then i don't remember anything after that. my phone was dead by the morning, but the audio player was paused at the start of the second-to-last file, meaning i went out at some point during the "metronome hfo" file or the "you will go deep and know it." afterward. i don't remember having an orgasm this time.
i've listened to hypnosis on & off since college & i'm getting really obsessed again. i feel strange, sort of like new chambers in my brain are being steadily expanded. i had the abstract blueprint already & i could imagine being deeply hypnotized but now it's getting scarily real feeling. i keep thinking various lines that i remember from tracks and shivering.
