People talk on occasion about how Garfield hating Mondays is actually wholesome because "That's when Jon leaves, Garfield cares about Jon" but actually Jon Arbuckle works from home and Garfield hates Mondays entirely arbitrarily, as he is unemployed and thus Mondays are entirely identical to every other day for him.
