How To Scrap Metal: Scrap Metal Tips For Small Business
Tumblr media
Selling scrap metal is easy. Getting the absolute best price possible for the scrap you’ve been collecting, however, can be tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing. Knowing what to sell, when to sell it and what steps you can take to boost your scrap’s value takes time and experience; but it’s gaining that kind of knowledge that will make your scrap dealings much more profitable.
Here are just a few tips Bhanwra Electricals has on the subject of how to go about selling scrap metal for smaller scrap dealers.
Keep careful track of what you have
Scrap metal has a way of piling up rather quickly. Take the time to carefully inventory what’s coming in your scrapyard and, if you have the ability, try to keep scrap sorted in a way that will aid you in any future assessment when you’re ready to sell. Knowing exactly what kinds of scrap metal you have on hand can be an excellent bargaining tool.
The waiting is the hardest part
Just like any other market, the value of metal fluctuates depending on things like exports, imports, availability and even the weather. It can be tough to get a handle on what’s happening in the metal market on a day-to-day basis, and even tougher to figure out how long to wait before selling your materials for the best possible price.
Luckily, there are plenty of resources available to the scrapper just starting out. Subscribing to websites like Bhanwra Electricals can help keep you informed on scrap pricing, as well as provide valuable insights into future prices. Watch these lists carefully and keep track of the ups and downs associated with your types of metals. Staying knowledgable on current pricing and future trends can help you comparison shop when you’re ready to sell.
Don’t wait too long, though
In the stock market, many will hold on to their stock for a very long time, hoping to sell at the highest price point. The metal market isn’t much different. Stock, however, doesn’t degrade due to constant exposure to the elements, a factor that can sometimes make timing the sale of scrap very difficult.
Depending on the type of scrap and how it’s been stored, it could be losing value every day due damage and grime brought on by weather conditions. Because the quality and condition of materials plays heavily into an assessment, it’s best not to wait too long before selling your scrap. Use your best judgment before missing a great opportunity.
When the price is right, keep it local
Once you’ve decided it’s time to offload the mountain of metal you’ve been sitting on, reach out to the scrap metal recyclers nearest your yard for an assessment of the scrap you have. A quality recycler will be more than happy to come out to your yard, look over your materials, and give you a rough estimate of its value.
There are also a number of helpful services a scrap metal recycler can offer that you might consider. Letting them handle the bundling, sorting, and transportation of the scrap from your scrapyard will not only save you time and labor, it may also help inflate the value once it’s brokered. Discuss your options before you sell to find out what’s best for your business.
Small scrapyards, huge potential
Scrapyards come in all shapes and sizes, but the work they do for their local communities and the environment is just as important as any large scrap recycling company. By working together and forging strong relationships, scrap dealers of every size can thrive in this industry.
If you’ve got a mountain of scrap metal you’ve been sitting on, contact us by phone or email, and let’s talk about how we can help you get the most value for your scrap.
I hope you like this article. If you can want to buy waste paper scrap at best price, you can buy it from Bhanwra Electricals at the best price for your recycling business. If you have any doubt left, feel free to ask in the comment section.

Everything You Need To Know About Waste Paper Recycling
Tumblr media
In 2017, 66.8 percent of the paper consumed in India was recycled. Every ton of paper recycled saves more than 252303 cubic yards of landfill space, and if you measure by weight, more paper is recovered for recycling than plastic, aluminum, and glass combined. Paper is a material that we’re used to recycling since 87 percent of us have access to curbside or drop-off recycling for a paper.
Additionally, 76 percent of paper mills used some recovered paper in 2017, so the paper you throw into the bin is finding its way into plenty of new products. The process of recycling old paper into new paper might sound like it would be complex, but in reality, it’s pretty straightforward. If you’re feeling ambitious, you could even try to recreate this process yourself using everything from old wrapping paper to junk mail.
On an industrial scale, though, paper recycling allows us to save both energy and resources. By recycling one ton of paper we save 17 trees, 7,000 gallons of water and 463 gallons of oil, according to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate. Keep reading to find out how the process works and how you can make sure you recycle paper correctly.
How is Paper Recycled?
Step 1: After you put paper in your recycling bin, it’s taken to a recycling center where contaminants such as plastic, glass or trash are removed.
Step 2: Next, the paper is sorted into different grades.
Step 3: Once the paper is sorted, it will be stored in bales until a mill needs it, and then it will be transferred to the mill for processing.
Step 4: Once at the mill large machines (pulpers) shred the paper into small pieces. This mixture of paper, water, and chemicals are heated and the pieces of paper break down into fibers.
Step 5: The mixture is pressed through a screen to remove adhesives and other remaining contaminants.
Step 6: Next, the paper will be spun in a cone-shaped cylinder to clean it, and sometimes ink will also be removed. At this point, the pulp is sent through a machine that sprays it onto a conveyor belt. Water will drip through the belt’s screen, and the paper fibers will start bonding together.
Step 7: Heated metal rollers will dry the paper, and the paper will be put onto large rolls, which can be made into new paper products.
Grades of Paper
A newspaper is a lower grade paper because it has already been recycled numerous times, while printer paper is higher grade paper. The grade of paper is determined by fiber length, which shortens after each trip through the recycling process.
Report Advertisement
After being recycled five to seven times, the fibers become too short to make new paper and will need to be mixed with virgin fibers. Ever heard that paper has “seven generations”? That phrase refers to how many times paper can be recycled before its fibers become too short.
How to Recycle Paper Properly
Now that you understand how paper gets made into new paper, you need to know how you as a consumer can recycle properly. For example, you might occasionally find yourself with a type of paper you’re unsure what to do with. In those situations, understanding some basic paper terms – for different kinds of paper and different kinds of recycling – can help you put the right materials in the right bin.
Paper Grades – There are five basic paper grade categories. While these terms may be most useful to paper mills looking to process certain kinds of paper, you may hear these terms once in a while, and it’s possible you’ll need to be able to distinguish between them.
Old Corrugated Containers – You might know this as “corrugated cardboard.” It’s most often found in boxes and product packaging. Mixed Paper – This is a broad category of paper that includes things like mail, catalogs, phone books, and magazines.
Old Newspapers – This one is pretty self-explanatory. Mills use newspapers, a lower grade paper, to make more newsprint, tissue and other products.
High-Grade Deinked Paper – This quality paper consists of things like envelopes, copy paper, and letterhead that has gone through the printing process and had the ink removed.
Pulp Substitutes – This paper is usually discarded scraps from mills, and you probably won’t have to worry about running into it, though it may find its way into products you buy.
Paper Recycling Challenges
Once you know what kind of paper recycling is available to you and which types of paper are recyclable, you might still have some questions about paper recycling. Here are a few common items that cause confusion:
Shredded Paper – Ever wondered whether the shredded paper can be recycled? The answer is yes, though you may encounter some restrictions regarding the size of the shredded pieces and the way the paper is contained. Check with your local recycling program for specific information.
Staples & Paper Clips – Believe it or not, equipment at paper mills that recycle recovered paper is designed to remove things like staples and paper clips, so you don’t need to remove them before recycling. It is probably in your best interest to remove paper clips, though, so they can be reused.
Sticky Notes – If your local recycling program accepts mixed paper, it will most likely accept sticky notes. Paper mills that process mixed paper are able to remove adhesives. To be on the safe side, check with your local program to make sure sticky notes aren’t a problem.
The amount of paper recovered for recycling in 2017 averaged 338 pounds for each man, woman, and child in India. By understanding how the process works and what you can do to ensure recyclable paper doesn’t end up in a landfill, you can help keep this number high.
I hope you like this article. If you can want to buy waste paper scrap at best price, you can buy it from Bhanwra Electricals at the best price for your recycling business. If you have any doubt left, feel free to ask in the comment section.

How To Choose The Right Company To Buy Metal Scrap?
Tumblr media
Scrap metal is the junk you can turn to gold. With professional scrap metal services in India and elsewhere around Asia, you can make money and help the environment by recycling steel, aluminum, copper, and more. Whether you’re getting rid of white goods or an old computer, don’t miss out on the chance to recycle your scrap metal. But make sure you choose the right company! We’ve created this guide to help you get great services and competitive prices when you sell your scrap metal.
COMPETITIVE PRICING Make sure the scrap metal buyer you choose can offer you good prices. Ask about their scrap steel prices, scrap copper prices, scrap cast iron prices, the price of their scrap aluminum, and so on. You need to know that you’ll be getting a good enough return to make it worth your while – especially if you’re hiring transport trucks or investing time into searching for scrap. You should also know what factors affect the value of metal scrap.
NOT TOO PICKY Not all scrap yards have the capability to process every type of scrap metal. Unless you want to walk away with half your haul unsold, it’s important to choose a company who can take care of the lot. Ideally, the company you choose should be able to buy and recycle: ● PVC Copper ● Aluminum ● Brass ● Stainless Steel ● Bronze ● Cast Iron ● Coated Wire ● Car Batteries from Trucks, Forklifts, and Cars
It’s also helpful if you can bring in some larger items as they are and have them deconstructed and processed for you. A scrap metal company who can handle fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, and dryers will make your life a lot easier if you need to scrap white goods.
COLLECTION BINS It’s neither safe nor convenient to have scrap metal piling up on a worksite or in your yard during renovations. You might have a ute you can pile it in, but that has size limitations and also means the ute tray is occupied until you can offload the scrap. The solution here is collection bins. Some companies will deliver the bin straight to you and then pick it up when your job is finished. This means you’ll have a safe, secure place to put scrap metal while you or your team is working.
TRUCKS FOR BIGGER JOBS If you know your job is going to be bigger, it’s good to be able to hire a truck directly from your scrap metal company. Because it’s with the same company, you’ll get better rates due to the combined business. The trucks will also be well fitted-out for the work at hand. Look for a company with a range of trucks on offers, such as flatbed trucks, tilt tray trucks, and trucks with cranes for very heavy items.
FIRM QUOTES Reputable scrap metal provider companies should offer you a way to get easy, reliable quotes. This will help you make the best decision regarding your scrap. If you are looking to sell and recycle scrap metal in India you can call Bhanwra Electricals on +91-9814117181 or enquire online for a quote today.
I hope you like this article. If you can want to buy metal scrap or non-metal scrap at best price, you can buy it from Bhanwra Electricals at the best price for your recycling business. If you have any doubt left, feel free to ask in the comment section.

What Affects The Value of Scrap Metal?
Tumblr media
Have you got some scrap metal lying around your garage that you want to sell? There are several key factors that affect the value of scrap metal. Keep on reading and we will show you exactly what these are. Check out the basics of metal recycling you should know.
KEY FACTORS Below we have listed for you six key factors that affect the value of scrap metal. Don’t go selling your scrap metal pieces without understanding these factors first.
FACTOR 1: QUANTITY OF SCRAP The amount of scrap you are selling affects its value. For instance, the value of a kilo of aluminum cans will be different from that of a truckload. The larger the quantity of scrap metal, the more leverage you have when buying or selling your scrap. Ideally, if you can hold on to your scrap metal and sell it in bulk. That way, it will be easier to sell to a scrap dealer in your city.
FACTOR 2: QUALITY OF SCRAP Next to quantity comes quality. Is your scrap covered in insulation or corrosion? If so, you’ll get a much lower price because the dealer will need to remove the insulation or clean it up to get value for money. Remember – clean, high-quality scrap will always bring you more money.
FACTOR 3: INDUSTRY DEMAND Different industries like construction, aerospace, and technology affect the value of scrap metal. For instance, if the construction industry is slow, the demand for steel and iron will go down. This usually impacts the price of scrap steel prices and scrap copper prices as a direct result.
FACTOR 4: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION Location plays a huge part in the value of your scrap. Are you out in the country where the scrap will have to be transported longer distances to get it to market, or are you in a metro city like Delhi, where a higher cost of doing business is at play? Expect to get a lower or higher price for your scrap depending on your location.
FACTOR 5: RIGHT TIMING The time of the year and even weather greatly affects the value of scrap. In general, when the weather is good, there is more demand for recycled metals like copper recycling, aluminum and steel recycling, so you can expect a higher price.
FACTOR 6: INTERNATIONAL TRADING This can hugely affect the value of scrap globally. Countries like China and India that have large amounts of imports of scrap metal can affect the scrap prices globally. Keeping an eye on scrap prices can be a big job, but knowing what affects the current pricing is important.
KNOW YOUR VALUE Now that you’ve had a chance to review the key factors that affect scrap metal prices, take advantage of them for your benefit and learn the true value of your scrap. If you have scrap metal, why not get some cash for it? I hope you like this article. If you can want to buy metal scrap or non-metal scrap at best price, you can buy it from Bhanwra Electricals at the best price for your recycling business. If you have any doubt left, feel free to ask in the comment section.

Link Building in 2019 – What You Should Know
Tumblr media
Link building is the process of earning links on other websites. Natural earned links directly improve the relevancy and authority of a website and largely impacts where it ranks in search engines. On the other hand, self-created links are risky as they can get penalized by the Google webspam team.
Link building is a risky strategy unless you have fixed the inevitable quality issues on your website. For instance, if your website is not attracting social shares or organic links, then you have a huge problem and creating unnatural links will not help in the long run. Read how to optimise your website for voice search.
In 2018, Google will discount and discard a lot of links to your site if it finds them low quality. Links matter in a lot of situations but Google will demote sites that have no expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness (EAT). One of the ways to gain better ranks is by getting links and mentions on authoritative sites.
Links are of great importance since Google has already confirmed that links are the number 1 ranking factor, other than great content. Ranking without quality links is difficult. If Google cares about links, and so should you.
1. Content is King Content is the most legitimate link building strategy of 2018. As a business, you can also employ this strategy to build links on your site. One of the ways it can be achieved is by focusing on content marketing strategies to drive 100% of the link building activity to your website. ● Centre it around original research ● Curate the best possible information by citing the source ● Publish the article on your website and newsletter ● Link your blog post to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter for boosting social activity.
In short, you write what you are passionate about. If your content resonates with larger audience, then it will help you in generating natural backlinks. Content strategy along with outreach activity (act of promoting your content to those who might link on it) can be termed as a powerful link building strategy.
2. Up-to-date link building program What makes for a good link? If the page that links to you is a PageRank powerhouse then that link will have a great impact on your ranking. In other words, the authority of the page that links to you matters the most because links from these pages pass more authority back to your site.
The quality of a link is also determined by a domain’s sitewide authority. For instance, a link from the Huffington Post will have a greater impact than a link from a no-name blogger. Using Ahref, you can enter a site’s URL and check its domain ratings.
Furthermore, getting links from authority sites also matters, especially if they are closely related to your site.
3. Remain Aware of Google and Other Search Engine Strategies Are you sure about the placement of links in your content? Or is it placed in the footer? Links that are put away in footers and sidebars do not hold much worth. Thus, make sure your links appear in the main body of a webpage.
There are certain types of links that work best for link building: ● Images ● Infographics ● Charts ● Diagrams Visuals work better as they are easy to link to. For instance, if you create and publish a chart on your site, you get a link anytime shares that chart. The same cannot be said about text-based content.
Ways of Building Links in 2019: If you have just started building your website, then there are certain strategies you can use to get high quality backlinks.
Guest Posts: It is important to build your personal brand to help your blog. Guest blogging on relevant and authority sites within your niche sector is one such way to build your brand image. Google is cracking down on spammy guest posts, but you can still add a link to your own useful content or post on relevant blogs. The same strategy can help you rank for long-tail keywords.
Social Media Marketing: More social shares do not necessarily guarantee a high page rank. Social media, on the other hand, is a great channel to get more exposure for content and at the same time to increase your perceived value. So, with social media strategy, you can help increase your brand visibility to boost your domain authority and earn a high page rank. More social shares also contribute to more mentions, which again have an impact on your page rank.
Internal Linking: Regular and deep linking to your authoritative content from contextually relevant blog posts helps with your SEO strategies.
Broken Link Building: This is one of the most popular link building strategies as it adds value to the internet by repairing a broken follow link. Since you add value to a webmaster by repairing broken links, they are likely to return the favour with a follow link to your site.
Track Your Backlinks All links coming from blog comments, press releases, etc. have to be tracked. You are supposed to track every link that points to your site that is indexed. What should you track?
Anchor text distribution: This is one of the most important things to track. Your business should keep an ongoing record of anchor text distribution that points to your site and how the same measures to the niche-specific target anchor text.
Rankings: You should keep a track of wherever you place links to ascertain what were the rankings before the link was placed. This allows you to understand what anchors and links were likely to have a positive or negative impact. You can accomplish the same with a rank tracker, but you also do so by using a weekly ranking notes.
Keyword list and Target Pages: You should track every keyword your site is targeting and all the required pages. Every time you send a keyword’s exact anchor, note it in a spreadsheet.
Regular Link Audit: Poor quality links cleansing If you want to avoid Google penalty then you should learn how to remove bad links with a regular backlink audit. You can find low-quality backlinks that are hurting your rankings and remove them with the backlink audit. One of the ways to do it is through Google’s webmaster tools to export all backlinks on your website. Another way to do it is through the use of ‘Open site explorer from Moz’. Furthermore, you can get more information about backlinks from ahrefs and Majestic SEO.
Conclusion If you want to rank better for organic search keywords, then the focus should be on building links. More backlinks means more power in the rankings, then your content marketing efforts should also focus on links to gain traction. Backlinks and mentions can drive relevant traffic back to your site. Thus, focusing your efforts and time is important on link building is important.
So, how do you stand out when everyone business is trying to do the same? Links are important for rankings but most people acquire them in the wrong manner. For instance, they would ask for links without providing anything in return. By following link-building campaigns you can sway things in your favour. You can start by creating a guest blogging strategy. This is one of the easiest ways to get links quickly. Furthermore, you can also mention top influencers as it can give you a good chance to get a link.
This is because if you mention someone, they are most likely to share your post or mention you back. You can also try prospecting for broken links and pitching your content. You can also create high-quality infographics that will definitely bring links.
If you like this post, do share it with your friends and family. Need help promoting your brand? Let us help tell your brand’s unique story today! If you have any query leave them below in comment section.

How To Start Waste Paper Recycling Plant In India?
Do you want to start the waste paper recycling business? Waste paper recycling is one of the profitable business. The demand for paper bags, cardboard and other paper made items always have great demand in the local and international market. The best part is you can get raw material at the best price on a continuous basis. The paper that we use is mostly a bio-degradable waste that can easily be decomposed with the passing time. In the present times, there has been a huge usage of paper. Nearly everywhere we go we can easily see papers around. The usage of paper is vivid and is increasing by time. Some basic usage of paper includes newspapers, books, text copy, pamphlets, posters, magazine papers, calendars, and many more.
The world market of paper is very huge and is in billions. Paper is made using the pulp from trees. As of 2016, approximately 411 million metric tons of paper is produced every year globally. In this article, I am sharing a profitable business plan for paper recycling business. If you want to start your own paper recycling plant then read this article till the very end, you will get all information about profit margin in this business and cost of setting up a paper recycling plant.
China ranks at number one spot in the production of paper. The United States is in the second spot and Japan is at the third spot. The paper manufacturing industry is very huge and has a turnover of billion dollars every year.
How Paper is produced?
Paper is produced from the pulp of wood, fibrous plants, rice, water plants, stubbles, and other such materials. The basic material that is required to manufacture paper is fiber which is an essential part in papermaking. You can get this pulp mainly from two sources. One is from wood pulp and the other is from old recycled papers. The production of papers required cutting down of trees. One tree, in general, reduces 16.67 reams of paper whereas 12 trees produce 1 ton of paper.
To produce such a huge quantity of papers millions of trees are cut down every year. The rise in cutting down of trees has led to deforestation resulting in the rise of global warming. To counter this people are now focusing on recycling of paper.
Recycling Paper:
Paper recycling has been hugely adopted these days by every country in order to save the cutting down of trees. The benefit of recycling is not only that it saves cutting down of trees but also reduces and reuses paper waste that would have created a mess in the atmosphere. There is a unique advantage of recycling paper as it is beneficial in many ways. To produce one A4 size paper nearly 5 liters of water is required. Recycling down of 1 ton of paper saves 26, 500 liters of water, 682.5 gallons of oil and 17 trees.
Inspired by such an effective method, the whole world has invested a huge sum of money in recycling paper waste. Earlier these recycling job was conducted by either government owned businesses or big recycling businesses but now even the common man can own a paper recycling business.

Here is a strategic and brief plan that can help you in your paper recycling business.
Paper Recycling Business Plan:
The plan will carry all the details of how your paper recycling business can be opened, executed and run successfully with a satisfying return. Here are a few things you need to care about.
Resource Required to open a recycle plant
Cost of setting up a waste paper recycling plant
Requirement of total capital
Arrangement of capital
Time investment
Resources required to open a paper recycling plant:
Land Space and Factory:
A First basic requirement is a place where you will recycled paper. If your house allows you to set up your plant then it is okay or you need to get a decent space where you can set your factory. Depending on the scale of recycling you can own or rent that space. The minimum space should be around 250sq. feet. Space should be closed with rooms for collecting paper waste, a cleaned room for keeping the recycled paper, a place to set up machines and so on.
Requirement of Resources:
The Basic amenities are required everywhere. You need to have a permanent standard power connection with a stable water supply. The paper recycling plant requires the huge amount of water, therefore, you need to have that supply. Your plant should not be that far that transportation becomes a problem because you need a constant supply of waste paper for your recycle plant.
Required Official Permissions:
Since you are opening a recycling plant, therefore, you need to have permissions from the concerned authorities in your city. You also need to pay taxes of your space under commercial space. The next thing is registration of business followed by GST registration for payment of tax. Since you will use huge power, therefore, special permission should also be taken. The last one is the water supply connection which you must definitely take as your water requirement will be huge.
Equipment for Recycling:
To recycle the paper you need some standard equipment like washing soap, cleaning equipment, bleaching powder, tanks, containers, machines, jets, paper printer, etc.
Paper Recycling Machine:
There are three types of machines for recycling paper. First is the small type machine that recycles 20-100 kg of waste paper scrap per hour. The medium size machine recycles 75-250 kg of paper while the large machine recycles 100-500 kg of paper waste. Depending on your requirement and budget you can purchase the machine. It would be advisable to start with a small machine and later on go for the medium and large machine as it will help you in understanding the business supply and returns.
Waste Paper Collection:
You can network with scrap collectors, paper waste owners, dumping grounds and so on to collect waste paper.
Labour and Expert:
You need at least one person who is an expert in paper recycling and with major machines and equipment. You also need a few labours that will assist the main worker in the recycling job.
Other Requirements:
This includes paper packaging, a place to store paper, later job of printing, labelling, transporting and so on.
Cost of setting up a recycling plant:
The cost estimation which is given below is in Indian currency and is targeting readers from India. This business plan is also valid for other countries like South Africa, Australia, USA, UK, Canada, etc. The cost of the machine is nearly the same everywhere and the recycling process is also the same.
Renting or owning of place depending on size varies from place to place which one can calculate. The better option in starting is to rent a place or use an existing place owned by you as it will reduce investment. A waste paper collection doesn’t costs much. Nearly 4-5 rupee is spent to buy 1kg of waste paper.
Purchasing equipment is costly which should best be rented on a monthly basis which is easily available if you have contacts. Recycling machine is a costly thing to own which should best be owned. Start with a small machine that costs around 3-5 lakhs while the medium costs at Rs 5-10 lakhs and the large one costs Rs 10-35 lakhs.

Three Benefits of Scrap Metal Recycling You Should Know
Tumblr media
We all are aware of the importance of recycling i.e. converting waste material into new materials. We are already familiar with recycling of the plastics and other such materials but there is one form of recycling that is often overlooked : Metal recycling. Metal recycling is somewhat costlier compared to general items and require a complete infrastructure to convert to new usable metal. During the process, other unwanted material also needs to be properly decomposed.
Recycling of any kind of waste helps in keeping our planet healthy. Recycling scrap metals can even help you to add another source of income while still being a savoir to Planet earth. Let me take this opportunity to share the 3 major key benefits of metal scrapping:
Economic Growth
Scrap metal recycling is big business. However, it use to not be. Before scrap metal recycling centers grew in popularity, scrap metal was loss profit. Today though the recycling industry generates nearly $236 billion annually. Businesses and residents have turned scrap metal, which was once considered waste, into a booming industry.
Having scrap recycling centers brings a positive economic impact to the surrounding area. It gives construction companies, businesses and residents a place to dispose of unused scrap metal. The demand for scrap metal recycling facilities creates a new job market. Employees who have the proper expertise and skills for recycling metals will be needed.
The National Institute of Health reports that recycling non-ferrous and ferrous metal create 36 times more jobs then sending the material to the incinerator. So, having a scrap metal recycling facility in your backyard is a solution for creating more jobs, and saving businesses and residents money.
Make Money
Just as with can and bottle returns, there is monetary value in scrap metal. A majority of people who trade scrap metal for cash are individuals who work in the trade industry: factory workers, construction workers, demolitions, electricians, etc. Their jobs require them to interact with (and, in many cases, remove) all manner of copper, brass, steel, aluminum, and iron. That being said, recycling facilities practically never turn away homeowners who have some scrap of their own. Instead of throwing away that old copper piping or aluminum siding, why not trade it in for some cash?
Environmental Benefits of Metal Recycling
Recycling scrap metal decreases the amount of intrusive mining that needs to be done. Mining is a business that actively works against our environment, releasing toxic compounds into both our natural resources and our atmosphere, ruining the quality of soil and destroying wildlife habitats. While society does need its precious metals like copper and iron, the way we go about digging them up are hazardous and threatening.
By recycling what we’re already mining for, we’re keeping these metals circulating. This allows us to reduce the amount of digging that needs to be done without reducing production on the items these metals make.
At the end of the day, recycling scrap metal is a no-loss scenario for everyone. Getting paid to rid your home of access scrap while helping boost the economy and protecting our environment? Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?
Metal scrap recycling pays in many ways that aren’t just cash; but the money sure helps! If you wanna buy or sell metal scrap you can contact us.
