Lei tried to ignore that momentary waver in Ali’s expression and reached out to hold her hands.

“We simply must! Let me buy you lunch, Ali!” She announced, “What are you hungry for?”

Ali gave her hand a light squeeze back, “I am happy with whatever you’d like. I um... you all usually have a better understanding of this sort of thing!”

A soft blush crossed Lei’s face as she rested her hand on her stomach. It was quite round yet, and she was still getting used to this human-style gestation period.

“I am, I’m glad you heard!” She said, “I wanted to come tell you myself, but between wedding stuff, baby stuff, school for Kai and Pua, I’m… sure you can imagine. Oh, Ali, we simply must get together and spend some time together. Maybe a nice lady date?”

Ali felt a strange feeling wash over her, though she wasn’t quite sure how to explain it... it wasn’t anger, but it still hurt? Jealousy? Envy? What an ugly emotion... 

“I-I would really like that...“ She replied, “I... I mean, I’ve got nothing planned? And I would love to hear more about those plans?“

“No!  No, um-!  We were just-”  This was the chick who had called the IP on him…  He was not eager to deal with that again.  But then Celia just had to speak.

“Yeeessss,” Celia replied in a voice that was a mixture of sweetness and sarcasm, not that anyone besides Esaias could probably tell the latter.  “I wanted to ask a few questions!”

“Well o...“ Something about this man seemed familiar? That voice and cloak did at least... but where had she heard that before? A stranger in a cloak did ring a bell? 

“U-um... o-okay... w-well the Church is this way?“ She said, and gestured to a magnificant building a little ways behind her. She paused for a moment, before turning around and started towards it.

Romance Needs: Whether they like it or not, the muse is afflicted with an intense need for romantic satisfaction that only gets worse with every hour for the entirety of Valentine's Day

Kittens & Chocolates: Secret admirer? Secret no more! Anyone that the muse has feelings for is now to be blessed with copious amounts of gifts, love letters, perhaps even songs for the entirety of Valentine's Day. The muse will be compelled to try and woo them with chocolates, teddy bears, and all other things Valentine's Day correlated.

Cupid's Arrow: For the entirety of Valentine's Day, the muse will be afflicted with an intense love for (anon chooses). With every hour, that love will grow in intensity--as will the need to have it be reciprocated.

Opposites Attract: For the entirety of Valentine's Day, the muse will have the opposite personality of how they usually behave--up until they receive a kiss from someone who is their polar opposite

Kissing Curse: For the entirety of Valentine's day, whoever drops into the inbox will receive a kiss from the muse, whether they want to or not.

Keep Your Enemies Closer: For all of Valentine's day, the muse is love-stricken by anyone who could be considered their foe! Until midnight, they will be absolutely smitten by those they once hated and actively seek out their affection.

Swapped Identities: The muse and (anon's choice) have been swapped! Body-wise, that is. Their minds and personalities are the same, but their appearances are certainly different. The only way to revise the curse is true love's kiss--or something close to it. (Better yet, if the two body swapped muses are each other's loves, they must try and find each other)

Esaias took out his Pokétch and considered it thoughtfully.  He definitely needed to stay hidden, but he didn’t want whoever this girl called to go out looking for Celia either.  They knew what she looked like, and it’d likely be no easy task getting her back once they found her even if they did happen to be ‘the good guys.’  …But Celia never answered her PokéGear.  Ever.  It was like she made a point of it.  Esaias cursed in his native tongue again before dialing her number…  Please, just this once, actually pick up!

Luckily, she could always count on Miss Midori to come to help. The moment she explained the situation to her on the phone, Midori asked for her location, so she could quickly have a Pokemon teleport her here. She sounded worried... and that, for some reason, helped calm Ali. It made her feel like she wasn’t just jumping to conclusions or being overly worried about nothing.

She sat down in the shop, and anxiously awaited for Miss Midori to arrive... what if that man found the girl before Miss Midori could get here? What if he was a Creep? Mother used to tell her when she was young to never leave the house without adult supervision because there was always creeps about... but then again, Mother never let her leave the house for any reason, regardless of situation...

Finally, the door opened up, and a woman with short brown hair, and a blue officer uniform, and a cute-looking yellow Pokemon on her shoulders, and another cute, pink Pokemon beside her walked in... instantly, Ali jumped to her feet, and ran over to the girl. Miss Midori would help! 

She was expecting to have to explain everything again to her, but Miss Midori quickly turned around to leave, and asked Ali to follow her. 

“If you see this man, please point him out to me.“ Miss Midori asked, as waited for Ali to lead the way, “Please take me to the last place you saw him. I currently have Drake scouring the skies for the girl too.“ 

Ali quickly nodded, “O-okay!” She turned around and started walking back the way she had come, “H-he was this way!”
