headcanon time!!

          mon is the type of person to memorize someone’s name within seconds of learning it-- she’s always had a knack for it, and she likes to call people by their names because it feels more personable to her. she also likes to know the name of everyone working on the base in yavin iv because she firmly believes it is her responsibility to humanize the people who serve under her guidance. she never wants people to feel nameless or unimportant in her presence.
