Hi hi hi! There are indeed plans for another gift exchange this year, keep an eye for announcement posts in the future (which will probably be set in the same time as 2024)!

hello! do you know of any other pit babe events running in the future?

I don’t know of any Pit Babe events with current plans, but if anyone has something in the works, please feel free to comment here! An event for the S2 premiere might be fun.

The only other Pit Babe related event blog that I’m aware of is the Change2561 gift exchange @changexchangevent which could happen again this year.

Assignments Due!

The assignments for the Change Gift Exchange are due! Technically they were due 2 days ago but i forgot to post with everything going on

Please submit them as soon as you can to avoid the dreaded last minute rush, or worse—accidentally forget submitting them before the gift reveal starts on 23rd December!

Feel that your work still needs some last minute brushing up? Or maybe you haven't been able to write a satisfactory ending paragraph yet? Well, worry not, because the gift exchange's settings have been tweaked to allow a longer submission time just for scenarios like this—you can now submit your works till 20th December, 10pm IST.

In case you haven't managed to submit your work(s) yet (or have faced trouble submitting them), please contact us with an ask for dm, we'll be happy to help you! And also not panic when we find that we haven't received works from every participant (and that is terribly worrying if one opens the exchange a couple of days before the reveal and finds that one of the participants wouldn't be receiving their gifts because enough works has not been submitted! So please, reach out if you are struggling with the time!)

The extended work submission date also allows you some extra time to create Treats—extra work that you can make if you feel inspired by one of the publicly available requests in the exchange, and gift it to the requestee—a delightful surprise for the holidays! And also for the rest of us in the fandom, who will be delighted to read new creations!

You can gift Treats even if you didn't sign up as a participant—take a look at the requests, and if something suits your fancy, grab your metaphorical(or literal) writing pen! And when you post the work, make sure to add the username of the person whose request inspired your work. Don't forget to add Change Gift Exchange 2024 in the 'post to collection/challenges' field in the work posting form too!
