i’m gonna share this on tumblr first because I’m still recovering from illness but

Im so tired of people misusing the word “clanker” on the internet WITH ZERO CONTEXT to where the term came from.

and call this a chronically online take but it’s pissing me off nonetheless.

NOT EVERY ROBOT IS A “CLANKER”

Clanker is a term CREATED by the clones in the clone wars to describe hostile battle droids and break comparison to clones being seen as “flesh droids” or less than human. The term is derogatory but that’s because the people USING IT are compared to mindless killing robots.

You wouldn’t call R2D2 a “clanker”

Stop running around being almost racist as a bit. Ai isn’t a “clanker” the guy who created that video was doing an elaborate star wars bit while using a real life comparison and if you watched the OG skit and clone wars you would see that.

Stop being fucking WEIRD.

New codywan 'butcher' x 'reporter'/secret agents au?

My brainrot has reached new levels and this is the (unfinished) result. The Au is basically that Obi-Wan and Cody were secret agent 'Partners' and Obi-Wan was framed as a traitor and thus fled to a small town in the north of Scotland where he works as a butcher. He's the local cryptid, weirdo and creep who talks to his knives more than to actual people. Cody, still in service, is sent to track the traitor down and eliminate him. He poses as a reporter who's writing an article about the different local towns and their own cultures or smth.

It's a lot of homoerotic tension and angst basically:)

My submission for @skeletons-eat’s DTIYS about their AMAZING Padawan AU!

BUT with my usual twist of combining it with my own Star Wars Daemon AU! (This may become a trend with any DTIYS I do lol)

The original drawing/prompt was Obi-Wan and Reva eating a meal together. I wanted to twist it a little but keep the main idea. So my submission is them meal prepping together! Maybe Obi-Wan is teaching Reva an old lineage recipe that Qui-Gon once taught him?

But again, also with Obi-Wan's Maned Wolf Daemon named Kee-Ayt, and Reva's Red Panda Daemon (I don't know what the Padawan AU name for Reva's daemon would be, but in my daemon AU Reva's daemon is named Sierri)

And finally, the second picture is just a doodle of canon Reva with her daemon, which settles as a Bobcat due to the events of the prequels/becoming an inquisitor. And also Skeli's Padawan AU Reva with her daemon. Which in this AU the Clone Wars end and Reva stays happily with the Jedi, becoming a Jedi Knight. Leading to her daemon settling as a Red Panda instead.
