@orynthburning brought up an amazing point about how Aelin never slut-shamed Manon Eos. Ever.

Because really? yes, Manon saved Dorian’s life Twice and that’s why he trusted her on the ship. But so did Aelin in the glass castle and by sending Rowan (Who made sure Dorian escaped while Manon kept the witches distracted) and Dorian doesn’t respect her one bit for this (bringing me back to my belief that Dorian and Chaol only respect women they’re attracted to and aren’t the gentlemen the fandom portrays them to be)

Also, Dorian knows better than to try and “Seduce” Manon. She is imprisoned by them. That could’ve easily led to rape with Manon saying yes out of fear of her life and Dorian not getting in trouble because she technically said yes (which parallels my complaints about TOG and how Dorian, The Crown Prince who can get whatever he wanted, kept flirting with Aelin, the slave who was afraid of being sent back to Endovier at a moments notice)

But suddenly Aelin being wary of A WITCH THAT TRIED TO KILL HER IS SUDDENLY BAD???? SAYING AELIN DISCRIMINATES AGAINST MANON AND COMPLETELY IGNORES THAT MANON HAS KILLED MEN FOR SPORT (which, same, but that’s besides the point)??? 

For gods sake, Aelin was not trying to say “Don’t have sex with her Dorian, she’s a slut” also, where did dumbasses get that interpretation from? She was saying “Your penis isn’t going to magically make her loyal to us to our cause” (Which is peak straight man)

Y'all were bending over backward to defend white boi privilege Kale when he discriminated against everyone but the Ardalanions and treated Aelin like dirt??? You say he got better but clearly, TOD shows us he didn’t. He’s taking credit for Yrene and Nesryns hard work for fuck’s sake. He never changed
