Old joke. Recently there's been a running joke with introduction of Emblem Ike in Fire Emblem Heroes.

I'm not a native speaker, but my connotation with the word 'engage' is 'marriage'. Especially since the engagement system involves rings. They forgot that old Emblems (that is Marth, Sigurd, Celica and Leif) already have sweethearts 8D

So it’s a JRPG about a blonde guy in his late teens-ish, who everybody and their mother seems to want in the next Super Smash Bros. The protagonist and the love interest’s older brother can wield this super awesome ancient weapon.

You have no idea how much fun I had with this one. Also, my favourite line from FF7. Here's fun fact - Eoleo is my favourite male character from Dark Dawn and Cid Highwind is my second favourite character from Final Fantasy VII. They are both captains of some ships who are so direct. At first I considered other characters for Cid's role, but Cidleo was more likely to be...in-character.

What do Roy and Leif have in common?

-they are both teenagers, who had to liberate their own country

-they are both lords, whose hair colour is not blue

-they both come from FE games, which have not been localised

-they are both obtained as Emblems in one chapter in Fire Emblem Engage Fire Emblem is one of my favourite game series, but I also suck at them. I did not manage to finish FE5 (damn your lack of swaping units before the mission!) & FE6. Playing Fire Emblem Engage, in which you meet characters from previous games, reminded me of this.

Long time ago I had this stupid idea of drawing a crossover between Golden Sun and Final Fantasy VII characters. And recently, after playing Crisis Core Reunion, it came back to me. And guess what. I'm thinking of more of these. I could not discard the idea of making badass Jenna.

She’s a prodigy wind mage in a world, where magic is sealed. She spent most of her life helping out her grandfather in his huge library, but decides to leave her post, when her sweetheart leaves on a dangerous mission.
