i distinctly remember there at one point being discourse over if crowfeather cheated on nightcloud, probably because breezepelt is listed as somehow being older than hollyjaylion. while i don't think that is in itself proof of anything (from what i can tell that information is exclusive to the wiki + timeline errors like that happen all the time) i never see anyone bring this scene up. it's pretty obvious that crowfeather and nightcloud are already involved at this point. he attempts to see leafpool when his patrol (nightcloud among them (!!!)) isn't looking and responds to her rejection with "i thought we didn't care what out clanmates thought" - implicitly he is proposing that they continue the affair. his fiancée is literally in the other room as this happens
