Are you a glitch fan?

I've been a fan of Glitch Studios since they started SMG4

I am the OG fan, they were my childhood, and a lot of my humor came from them. And they got me out of a lot of tight mental fog with their videos

I have a lot to thank them for as they were what got me into the entertainment industry and making Glitch gave me hope to actually pitch a show I've been working on and have it work out!

So yeah I'm a huge Glitch fan

I'M SO HYPED YOU HAVE NO IDEA

I'm not dragging her down with the Owl House, it was her first show and a great way to learn how to direct, and with her not being the only director I'm so excited to see what's in store!!

The animation looked breathtaking and the characters look so much more detailed and hold more personality than the models for toh

And im such a horror fan especially animated horror

You say what your characters are inspired by, are there scenes that are also inspired by other works too?

There are quite a lot! 😅

The main one is this scene with Joel and Caleb's face-off

Being inspired by this scene from Watership down

And also another scene in an upcoming chapter is inspired by Mother Gothel and Rapunzel's dynamic

Let me just say that part is gonna be incredibly fun to write

Ive had little outbursts of creativity and energy but zero motivation to do anything with it so It just passes and the idea is gone 😭

I don't know where to find the energy these days. It comes in tiny spurts, but I wish I had more, and I wish I could put it where I want it and not just on random things.

Prager U might trigger the biggest history rant I've ever been on.

For those who don't recognize the company name they are the animation studio behind the incredibly racist short about Christopher Columbus and are most recognizable from the quote "slavery is better than death"

I can't stress this enough how disgusted, disturbed, and angry I feel just hearing that quote and hearing so many people talk about it with me because of my knowledge of the time.

I know so much about the colonial era and the pre-colonial era. But I especially know so much about Columbus, I memorized quotes from his own travel logs of all things!! He's an idiot, he knew nothing of geography because even though the time knew the earth was round he believed the earth was a pear and messed up his planning based on that. The only reason Americans still celebrate him is because Italians brought his story when they migrated there to have Americans welcome them and the story itself was very watered down to paint him as an "American hero"

Are we gonna get another update for any of your fics anytime soon?

Its only been a week let me breathe 😭😭

But no i haven't even touched WROTWN since it's last update a week ago. I haven't really written anything since actually, normally when I do take breaks I end up writing things for friends as practice but I haven't even done that either.

Being completely honest here I'm not in a good spot at all, my mental health tanked quite badly these past couple of months so writing has started to become quite a chore rather than a fun thing to do in my spare time.

So I'm just gonna go on a wee break to stop myself from hating writing in general :)
