The Pitch Perfect SpookFest will take place from October 25 - 31.

This year’s prompts will be tied to the word FRIGHTS. Each day people will write a story based on the letter assigned for the day.

October 25 - F

October 26 - R

October 27 - I

October 28 - G

October 29 - H

October 30 - T

October 31 - S

For example, Friday, October 25th is ‘F’ so stories might be based on ‘Frankenstein’ or ‘Forgotten’ or ‘Fright Night’.

Writers are given great latitude to be creative with this.

Bechloe Week

The best time of summer, when we get to spend a week on our favorite ship! I know typically Bechloe week is in August but I'm gonna be so busy in late July to mid August that I thought what if we did it earlier. That is if anyone is still interested.

Who can say if we'll be back again in 2024, all we can say is that this year was as thrilling as the last, and we live in the hope that our business too remains unfinished enough to see us through to another year 👀

PPSF 2O23 - PROMPT SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN!

That's right Spookateers, we're now taking submissions for prompts this year, and the theme we're going for this year is Favourite Horror Movies!!

We want between 3 and 5 of your favourite horror or slasher movies submitted as prompts for this year's event that will be used as inspiration for creations this October. We'll use your favourite films to create the prompts for voting, using the tropes from all the movies you suggest, so our prompts will look a bit like this:

Movies nominated: Halloween, Scream, Nightmare On Elm Street

Prompts:

Serial Killer Stalker (Halloween, Scream, Nightmare On Elm Street)

Meta Horror (Scream)

Waking Nightmare (Nightmare On Elm Street)

So get those spooky thinking caps ready and start nominating 3 to 5 horror movies for ideas for the next week, we can't wait to see what you come up with!! Submissions will be accepted anonymously, voting rules will be different but we will release those next week when voting begins.
