I've never posted something here, anyways here's a bunnydoll drawing from @cherriyuhh 's fanfic (at least this is what I imagined they looked like in their pajamas in the first chapter but then again I have terrible reading comprehension so maybe they wrote something different and I just misunderstood anyways bye.)

I love messy stories. So many fic ideas I have next

Jax and Ragatha Clearly have history, and I love that. I want them to be messy and fucked up, I don’t want them to get back together, and I don’t want them to look at each other fondly.

I want them to look at each other like they’re the best and worst thing to ever happen to them in their damn hell. 

I want them fucked up, I want them both masking, I want them both pushing away each other in different ways.

I want Ragatha to die a second time as a fake person that Jax hated, I want her to die the first time as the girl Jax loved, a genuine, hurt, traumatized but happy person.

I want her to lose someone she loved but not by her own fault but his fault. Then to feel like it was her fault, causing her to believe it’s her mother all over again. She wasn’t perfect enough, she couldn’t help him, she couldn’t be good for him, she couldn’t make him happy. I want her to kill who she once was, because she believes that the reason why she lost Jax was because, she wasn’t good enough to keep him, to help him, to love him. Her true self just wasn’t enough to keep her as his. So to avoid this with the other members, she decides to mask as a person. 

I want Jax as an asshole, unable to face his mistakes and either drown in them or try and find an escape from them, through causing pain to others. Even to the person he loves most, to selfishly keep himself and her safe. But to fail at that too. I want him to lose all that he cared for in the circus, to realize the worst thing that he had ever done was push away the person he loved most. Which causes them to abstract, because by pushing them away, it caused them to become a fake person, which in turn pushed them to the edge of insanity. So at That point, he didn’t just lose her as a person, he lost her completely. Because he was drowning in his guilt, fear and selfishness. And decided to deal with it in the worst way possible. 

I want him to lose the person he loved the most twice. 

I want them broken.

I’ll come out with something sweet next time 😭

SOBBING AT JUST HOW I JUST INTERPRETED THIS SCENE

Raggy here had a moment of feeling separated by Jax and Pomni. Like they'd left her behind. Excluded. An extra.

But then Kinger, Gangle, and Zooble included her, praised her. It was clear she felt good about that; it gave her a sense of belonging she probably never got praised since her mom was a bitch btw crying again kajsjbsjd

But then

She was separated after the adventure ended. Excluded. The extra. Again.

Left behind. Again.

Caught in a limbo of being between them all. Feeling like a tagalong no matter which option she chooses. Like THAT'S where she belonged. Again.

Chapter 3 is finally out!!

After surviving the funhouse, Caine gives them some pretty bad news for Jax. But one things leads to another and suddenly Jax and Ragatha are having a carnival date??? And why are they in 50s inspired outfits??

Also Ragatha has a fear of heights when they go on the Ferris wheel together ;)

6.7k words to edit guys. This was probably the hardest chapter to write im not gonna lie. To be honest I’m not sure how it’s going to be received but trust the process 🥹🙏🏼

Finally finished writing chapter 3 of “Hanging by a Thread” and will be editing the next two days! Hopefully it’s up by Sunday or Monday 🥲

“You totallyyyy don’t look like you want to throw up.” Jax mocks Ragatha as she keeps her eye tightly shut, gripping the bar of the gondola. He jokingly rocks his legs back and forth. “I just love hanging around.”

Still tightly holding onto the bar, she shouts “You’re unbelievable Jax! Can you please stop rocking these stupid seats.”

Caine’s ferris wheel was much higher than they expected. From the bottom it didn’t look so bad but as the ferris wheel slowly spins, the height of it increases. One of Caine’s silly ideas.

🥃A CHARACTER ANALYSIS: A DRINK WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS 🍸

OKAY, NO I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE WHO SAW THIS IN THE LAST EP SO I'M BRINGING IT TO LIGHT RIGHT NOW

A small note from a little writer: This is my first character analysis, so if you notice any inconsistencies or disagree with me in general, I would appreciate your thoughts. Please be nice and respectful in your response. Also, I have no knowledge of alcohol or anything like that. This theory/ analysis is from me noticing a detail in the show and looking up stuff, so take what I say with a lil grain of salt, please and thank you (also might be misspelling throughout this post just a small warning)

So let me start off with this question: Did anyone notice that we only know the names of the drinks of Ragatha's and Jax's drinks?

(I'm not including the Corn Cobb Blitz bc I feel like that was to bring up Jax's fear, but it could be more idk...)

I mean, think about it, everyone else has a drink, right? But we only know Jax's and Ragatha because I feel like Goose wanted the drink to introduce the characters in a way. I swear, what I'm going to make sense, I promise!

JAX: SOUR WISKEY 🥃

Okay, first Jax, he orders a sour whiskey. For those who don't know, a sour whiskey is a whiskey with lemon juice, a sweetener like simple syrup, and egg white for texture.

I'm sure I'm not the only one how thought it was so weird why Jax, A 22 YR OLD would order a flipping sour whiskey. But from my research it says a lot about his character!

If you couldn't tell from the ingedent list a sour wiskey is a weird and complex drink which I think pairs well with his complex personality wise for sure! People who order a sour whiskey tend to be adaptable to their surroundings in social events and parties, which I believe can match Jax's energy as well, since in the circus, he seems to find his own twisted way of adapting to his environment. But we all know, speaiclly from the last episode, their is more to him than being an asshole (part of the reason why I love him). And I feel like his drink of choice communicates that so well.

Also throught my reseach, a small lit metaphor I found was that a sour whiskey can represent enjoying the sweetness of life in the most sour of moments. Which I feel like is communicated throug Jax so well, because he finds joy in the most scary, horific adventures than the more down to earth ones like star gazing or spudy's!

RAGTHA: COSMOPLITAN 🍸

Now Ragatha ordered a cosmopolitan. Which is known more as a distinct drink or style and elegants consitinging of vodka, cranberry juice, orange liqeur, and lime juice.

A cosmopolitan is what someone might have at a high end lavish party, showing that not only was she wealthy, but she grew up in an environment where she's had to be extroverted. And I think it shows why Ragatha might feel out of place in since she's use to putting on an exterior where she HAS to be social and put on a happy face to please people. Which I think leads into her copping mechinims of trying to be happy and positive all the time.

Another thing I found, is that cosmo's are know to be drinks of trendsetters, setting off a bold statment and known to be the life of the party and a natural leaders. Now I wouldn't say Rag's is a learder by any means but rember what she told gangle in the 4th episode.

Ragtha might have been raised to be a born leader, because you know, a lavish, wealthy family and all that. So she might have felt entitled to the leading role in that adventure because it might have been something she had trained for. (But this might be a stretch)

Again, all of this might be a stretch, and I'm looking WAYYYYYYYYY to much into this silly lil dark comedy, or I might have missed a few details within my research. But I keep going back to the bar scene and found it interesting how Jax's and Ragtha's drinks are the only ones that are really named. I think they want Jax's and Ragatha's drinks to have a name because a lot of people think a drink speaks words about someone (even before they even get drunk) and in this scene Ragatha and Jax's drinks speak for them before, during and after that main scene and it just made me love the scene even more.

But again, this is just a theory, but comment or send me an ask of your thoughts, I would love to hear what you guys think about my thoughts
