art loves falling asleep next to you with his nose in your hair, especially after a shower. he smiles to himself when he shuffles closer next to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and taking in a deep breath. he’ll mention it to you the next morning, literally as soon as he wakes up. “what shampoo did you use last night? it smells.. really good.” he loves that it keeps his nose warm, especially during the winter time. ohhh if art is not cold all of the time he’s not him!!! he’s tried every remedy to keep himself warm but only ur hair can really do the trick. he’s forever thankful

art loves going to the drive thru late at night. it’s so stupid, but he thinks the late-shift employees are so much nicer than the daytime ones. he orders the same thing every single time, so the staff working there already know what to ring up when they hear him. he drags you along one night, probably after a failed party, and as soon as he pulls up it’s like he’s best friends with whoever’s on the other end of the speaker. “hey, man. yeah! yeah, it’s me. i’ll just get the usual, you know me.” he’ll turn to you, frown at your confused expression and then ask, “want anything? they’ll like you, don’t worry.”

art loves introducing new things to people. well, they don’t necessarily have to be new, he just has to know about it before you do. he feels like a new man afterwards. he found out about oat and nut based milks in 2009 and thought it was great, so he then told every person he knew about it as if it was some new invention. he probably called you up at 2am to be like “hey, babe. did you know you can have almond milk instead of regular milk? i didn’t know that was a thing! okay, bye, love you.” and you’re just like “yeah.. wow, art, that’s… bye.” labubus? created them, mate. he was on the clairo listening, matching drinking, feminist literature reading train before ANYONE else.

art loves long-haul flights. he can’t really explain why, he just finds them so comforting. he’s up in the air for.. 6+ hours, no annoying phone calls, no traffic, which are two things he absolutely despises. he gets to sleep with very little distractions, particularly if he’s in first class (which he usually is), which means there’s no crying babies or seat kicking and he gets a huge area to himself. he packs so well for flights, too. he brings his ipod, a sleep mask, a bunch of snacks from duty-free, a book and probably an old person activities book. he’s the best person to fly with.

art loves amusement parks. he’s loved them since he was a kid (just imagining kid art with cotton candy stuck to his hands and face is making me tear up i’m not gonna lie), so he has to bring you to the one he’d go to every summer up until he went to college. he’s probably the loudest screamer you’ve ever heard when you go onto a particularly large rollercoaster, literally just flailing limbs. he tries to hold your hand through the whole thing but gets so scared he just has to hold onto his seat. he buys the stupidest things in the souvenir shops, like caps with the parks name in huge letters, a flimsy plastic cup that costs $20. he’s really terrible at the prize games, though. like really bad. he tried to win you a teddy bear before but he missed all of his shots that he payed for another 3 rounds until he decided to just cut his losses.

art loves the sound of high heels on marble flooring.

art loves looking at old photo books.

art loves wiping his shoes off at the door after a snow day.
