Crazy thought but what if Democrats actually adopted policies popular with working class people? Like, you know, Medicare for All instead of standing around looking helpless while Republicans cut 17 million people off of Medicaid and destroy rural hospitals in the process

It has been mentioned that the new districts are explicitly gerrymanded along racial lines, with predominantly white districts now having more representation than districts with primarily Hispanic or black Texans.

Democrat-led states like California are responding to this by deliberately gerrymandering their own new districts to cancel out the ones Trump ordered be created (leading to Republicans in California states saying that they will launch law suits due to THEIR representation being deliberately reduced), frankly it does kind of suck that people have to resort to undemocratic means to counter-balance other people also doing it, but as people have been saying, this normally happens every ten years after a census but Trump explicitly ordering the creation of more districts to maintain control in the face of his policies losing voters by the truck load. So yeah, he started it.
