good thing i love shopping. we'll give our cards a workout, make our dream house come to life. i sent an email over to let our agent know that we're interested so she can handle it from here and we should have an answer soon. look at you saving us some work. i don't have much to go through either so it should be a breeze to get our personal things packed and moved over. i wouldn't mind it either but no pressure, babe. we can cross that bridge in a couple years when our work lives have settled and we feel like we're ready for some sleepless nights. i'm not joining her until the end of june so still have a couple more weeks. when are you heading back to work?

we're going to need to take several trips to ikea to fill the house but can't wait to really start our lives together in that house. let's get the process started monday morning and i hope we can close soon - i need to be sitting having my morning tea on those deck chairs asap. i threw away and donated so much stuff when joe and i separated, so we luckily don't have so much to do. maybe we can pack all of our personal things and all of the kids stuff and then hire some company to pack up everything else? save ourselves a little, because the unpacking process is my least fave thing ever. never say never, you know. i love being a mum and i wouldn't mind eventually having more with you. once we're all settled, of course. when do you need to go to the UK for dua's shows?

i'm glad you're okay with it because i wasn't about to make any apologies for it. it's already out so you'll have to let me know what you think about it whenever you do get around to giving it a listen. i'm dying to hear your thoughts. happy to report that i've heard of both -- knockin' on heavens door and some stuff here and there from kendrick lamar. did you catch his superbowl performance? iconic.

Maybe that is just what you're doing to me, making me soft and mushy. I am okay with it though, because I love this friendship. I really like that answer. It sounds like it's really personal to you, so I am going to have a listen so I can hear it for myself. Oh, man. My music choices is all over the place, and I really do listen to a little bit of everything. Kendrick Lamar has been in rotation a lot, but also been listening to classic rock. I don't know if you have heard Knockin' on Heaven's Door by Guns N Roses but that's been on a lot. I actually have been listening to the Sinners soundtrack a lot too. Like I said, music has been everywhere for me.

i already have so many ideas on how we can decorate it and it feels like the perfect place to settle. so yes - let's make an offer. we can have our agent send it over, see if they accept. if they come back with a yes then we can start packing, figure out what we're keeping and what we can donate. also, the idea of adding another baby one day? i'm obsessed. you're the best mama.

please do. there's no place i'd rather be or anyone else i'd rather be stuck with. make it a bagel and coffee date and i'll be so sold. we can meet up and spill the weekly tea that we always seem to be missing out on. american real estate is pretty easy when you've got an agent. they set up the viewings and you just go and look. it's great. pretty fun way to pass the time. what have you been up to since i dragged you out? more DJ gigs or what?

hater, but i respect it. can't be letting me outshine you. no, that's exactly it. people are so fucking miserable all the time that it's important to find the humor in things. especially when you're in this industry that loves to chew people up. that's pretty true but luckily there's a million other outfits that you can wear outside of the toilet one. though it does remain your most iconic look yet.

Nah nah, can't have them spilling all their best secrets to you, because you'll definitely look way better than me in any fit they come up with. Yeah, I find if you're already making jokes about yourself and not taking yourself seriously, any comments people throw at you don't hold any weight. Thank you. Only problem is it's not an outfit I can get away with repeating without everybody calling me an outfit repeater.

so weird, right? totally no hard feelings. you're a busy man and i'm a busy lady so it happens. it did indeed make it out of the chat and we got to spend a very sunny afternoon together before life got stupid busy again. how have you been, joe? still on tour with the brothers or is that over with?

Figured it's about time I say hey, @chloedcve -- Soph and I have been talking about you (good things obviously). It honestly feels more odd that we haven't spoken than that we are currently, so consider this me changing things on that front and hoping we can keep 'em that way. She mentioned something about a trip out to the beach a bit ago... did that vacation end up leaving the chat and, if so, how was it?

so soft and mushy. my favorite would have to be 'too much'. it's about being your true self and not shrinking yourself down because people think you're too much for them and how you shouldn't make yourself smaller just because they say so. very empowering and my absolute favorite song to scream in the car. since we're on the topic of music though, have you been listening to anything good lately? my spotify playlists are lacking.

Come on, you're going to make me all soft over here. I happy that we're so close though, and I consider you one of my best friends as well. Send me all the things you're working on, please.
