Context:

Basically in my pjsk+jjk AU Meiko died in a future arc I have vaguely planned out called the extraction arc and in the aftermath of that arc the kiddos decided to organize a sort of celebration concert dedicated to Meiko on her anniversary in hopes to bring her back to life via Sekai magic.

Kaito initially was against this idea due to hime believing it’s futile since one can not comeback from the dead.

But in the end still helps them. And near the end of the concert, Meiko is manifested back to life again.

Thus Kaito’s getting emotional when he see her since because she’s been dead for like 2 months.
