hwa-young chuckled softly , shoving her hands back into her pockets to keep them warm. a small smile tugged onto her lips as she gently kicked at the snow on the ground. ❝ mhmm.. ❞ she hummed , agreeing with a small head nod , slowly rocking back and fourth on her heels. as se-mi brought up her brother , she huffed softly. yeah — she knew her brother cares , even if its through a shitty way , she cant help overthink. “ well..i know he does , but he's— “ she cut herself off , not wanting to reveal what her brother worked as. even if she knew what her brother worked as , it could strike through people in a different way. “ ah , nevermind. but i guess he maybe does. i think he cares if it's only needed. our household is a bit..messed up. hyun-seok and hyun-ju — well , my older siblings — already moved out , while i'm trying to as well.. “ she muttered , the word ' household ' feeling bitter on her tongue before she shook her head. “ sorry — oh.? walking around? sure-! i wouldn't mind.. “ she agreed with another smile on her lips.

hwa-young's fingers scrolled through her phone , checking any messages from her sister , cho hyun-ju. a sigh passed her lips , lingering in the midst of the cold winter air. snow falling on her head as she walked through the snow-covered path sidewalks. muttering a quiet , soft curse beneath her breath , she shoved her phone into her back-pockets of her jeans , before she suddenly collided with another woman , resulting into spilling her coffee on the other woman. — “ oh , shit-! i'm so sorry-! “ — she quickly said , her gaze now on the other women , trying to wipe off the coffee with her jacket sleeve.

hwa-young chuckled as she looped her own arm around marie's shoulder , then looking up at the camera. ” mhm? “ she hummed , giving the camera a slightly big smile , the camera capturing both of their smiles.

“ mhm! hopefully the sunflower maze has some pretty places to take pictures at too! “ hwa-young chuckled softly as she started to already glance around the visible places of the maze.

hwa-young bit her lower lip , her eyes not meeting her brothers gaze. after a few moments she spoke up , slowly lifting her head up too. ❝ ...appa started a fight with eomma. well — he came home drunk..and he lashed out on mom for no reason. ❞ she muttered. she didnt chuckle or laugh at the comment he made about her grazing her knee as a kid. or it was that she didn't know if he was joking around to try and cheer her up. “ ...i tried to help stop the fight until appa grabbed one of the kitchen knife and jabbed the knife into my shoulder- “ she shared , the blood still seeping down her arm and back. before she knew it , she wrapped her arms around her brother , despite the pain in her left shoulder. “ i'm scared , oppa.. “ she choked out into hyun-seok's shoulder.

hwa-young was stumbling around the dark but dimly lit sidewalks of ilsan. she knew her brother should be around somewhere. her sister — or well , their sister had already moved to thailand. so she only had hyun-seok as the closet person , whom was still in korea. she had just finished a argument with her father. but she didnt know he would harm her. harm her by stabbing her in her left shoulder then dragging the knife down until it reached her left shoulder blade. it was a very deep wound. blood quickly pouring out , she tried to put more pressure onto the wound with her right hand. even though it did nothing , she still tried — and also tried to keep herself alive until she reached her brothers house. with her vision blurring a bit here and there , she blinked rapidly , trying to get her blurred vision away. she looked around until she stumbled towards her brothers apartment. he was just staying for a month — or so called a few weeks he said. she brung her blood-covered right hand , then weakly knocked on his apartment door. she hoped hyun-seok would hear her faint knock , but if he didn't , she wouldn't know where else to go..

"hwa-?" a half asleep hyun-seok answered the door. gun in his hand- he could never be too safe. the man scanned his sister up and down. focusing on the wound on the younger womans shoulder.

"fuck.." hyun-seok opened the door wider, inviting his sister in. "don't mind the mess. soo-yeon had some of her friends over." he glanced out the door, double checking before locking it.

"what the fuck happened-? jesus christ. you always get in trouble." the man whisper yelled. "do i need to beat anyone up this time?" he lead his sister into the kitchen, taking out the small first aid kit on the top of the shelf.

"god- i remember patching you up when you grazed your knee. seems like nothing's changed."
