A friend of mine got mad at me once for calling ferris wheels “gay culture”. (love simon am i right?)
So let me tell you a little bit about “queer culture”.
Queer culture is asking your friends who live across the country if you can stay with them just in case something goes wrong with your parents. Queer culture is being afraid of making friends with anybody, because you just know that they’re gonna call someone a faggot as soon as you turn around. Queer culture is being a source of brownie points to people who don’t really care about you. Queer culture is being closer friends with older strangers you met on the internet just because they seem to support and understand you better than anyone you know in real life. Queer culture is being seen as a fetish. Queer culture is being afraid to hold hands with your lover on the street, because it’s bad for the children. Queer culture is feeling every “did you just assume my gender?” joke being directed at you, as if you’re somehow the reason for other people’s stupidity. Queer culture is being expected to teach homophobes how to be less homophobic, because somehow your identity comes with a job description you didn’t even sign up for. Queer culture is seeing yourself being mocked everywhere you go, until you don’t even want to associate with people like you anymore. Queer culture is having the president of your own country joke about his vice president wanting to kill you. Queer culture is every major religion having something against you, and wondering where you fit in. Queer culture is being discriminated against in your own community.
Some parts of Queer Culture can fucking hurt, so when I want to “claim” a ferris wheel for the gays, which, in case you weren’t sure, doesn’t actually change anything about ferris wheels for straight people, maybe you should think about what queer culture can really be. Maybe you should take a breath and let us have our little jokes and memes before we have to go back to the real world and face our realities, where our biggest problems aren’t as small as straight people getting angry about ferris wheels on the internet.
(Please note that these experiences are solely mine and everyone’s experience is different. If you ever need to talk about anything like this I’m always up for a chat.)

Under D&D rules, a dagger does 1d4 base damage. The average human has a Strength score of 10, adding no bonuses. Several of them, due to the military background of many, likely had strength or dexterity scores of 11-14. But only two or three, and quite a few would be frail with old age, sinking to 8-9 strength. All in all, we can only add a total of +1 damage per round from Brutus.
An estimate of sixty men were involved in Caesar’s actual murder. Not the wider conspiracy, but the stabbing.
Julius Caesar was a general, which is generally depicted as a 10th level fighter. Considering his above baseline constitution and dex, weakened by his probable history of malaria, epilepsy, and/or strokes (-1 dex modifier), and lack of armor at the time of the event, he would likely have something along the lines of AC 9 and 60 HP. The senators would likely hit him roughly 55% the time.
So the Roman senate had a damage-per-round of 66, more than enough to kill Caesar in one round even without factoring in surprise round advantage.

To be fair, I suspect that Millennials failing to figure out they were being scammed until after they’d been lumbered with trillions of dollars of educational debt and spent a decade being suckered into abusive dead-end jobs while Gen Z got a clue while they’re still in middle school has less to do with Millennials being dumbasses or Gen Z being geniuses and more to do with the fact that the powers that be have stopped bothering to pretend that they’re not literal Captain Planet villains.

god i love when preteens go to starbucks bc they have such a rudimentary understanding of how to purchase things? i once had this kid literally walk away from the counter after paying for a five dollar drink with a twenty dollar bill and when i asked if he wanted his change he was like “what’s change”
