So I know I've been slacking a bit on the daily self-portrait thing.  Part of it was work just draining me and part was waiting for inspiration.  So here was an inspiration...  The first day that the heat was not on and I didn't need to put on long pants and a real shirt in evening.  There ought to be some special name for that day that signals summer is really here.  And yes I'm at the computer.  But summer is here and wearing shorts all day trumps all.

Another check list nearly ready to be retired as we near opening...  I know, very analog, but it suits me for this stuff.  And there is something way more satisfying about starting with a fresh yellow pad than there is about right-mouse>new>folder>click.

Darn!  The whole weekend just blew by without getting a pic in!  The nice weather really cuts into that whole hanging out with the computer thing...  That's good I suspect.

Marathon Lightroom session today.  Hopefully this condition won't persist...  Or finding gloves is going to be tough!

Spent a lot of time photographing Charlotte 2.0 today.  She has exciting news and some photos to share.  Album coming soon!

An act of creative desperation (Which we have all been known to participate in...).  But I am running out of ideas to show that I am running out of ideas!  And just kind of roasted on the current creative load at work.

Got to love being able to sit out on the porch on a warm summer evening and watch night settle in without FREEZING YOUR BUTT OFF!!!

The nice weather seems to cut into the more introspective aspects of the creative process.  When it's dark by five, there is all this time to comtemplate process and materials, mood pics and so on.  When it's nice out, it's time to GTFO and PLAY!

Spent too much time in Photoshop today.  So I decided to swap Homer's head for my own without using Photoshop.  With about the same tools that Homer might have available.  Beats another shot of me at my computer!

I can see it from here!  What a relief.  Over the weekend, a friend told me I sounded more relaxed than I had in months.  We'll see what the final push does to that...

Home again and with any luck the last business travel for this project.  I had given up on sorting the crap out or putting it away.  It had just degenerated to this pile of stuff that I would sift through and select for a week home or a week away.  Time to get my life back in order!

Another hotel.  With my laptop.  If nothing else, the road pics oconvey the mundane side of business travel no matter where one is.  The work is always cool and stimulating but at the end of the day...  Maybe a different road is in order.
