Damn, my last post about Wrice really took off huh 😂 I had more thoughts while watching the fight and Wreck’s flashback:

I was just thinking about those two again but also that theory that moles are where your soulmate loved to kiss you in the past, and also that Wreck’s/Pò Huài Wáng’s mole on his cheek is such a cute and good spot to kiss.

And maybe Nice/Nài sī read the belief/theory somewhere online when he scrolls through his secret social media account, and then starts kissing that specific spot on Wreck’s cheek.

Wreck is puzzled at first but goes with it, loving the affection from him and it becomes frequent, like when they meet up at his place, before Nice leaves, before they fall asleep cuddling on his bed and it makes Wreck’s heart flutter and stomach flip. And when Nice is caressing his face his fingers brushes against the mole on his cheek.

Then in fights Nice tries to avoid punching him on that spot, but also when he adjust Wreck’s helmet like he does here, his fingers linger for a moment on that spot, muscle memory guiding him.

(Wreck does eventually ask why and Nice explains it to him, which he playfully teases him about but also is endeared, because he never gave his moles much thought, and now Nice has given them a special meaning, something to associate with Nice.)

Anyway these two are stuck in my head, and I wanted to post about this headcannon of mine out because god these two deserved better. And we all need more wholesome stuff.

Y’know I just realised, now on my like, idk, 20th rewatch of the wedding fight, and seeing Wreck/Pò Hùai Wáng threatening to kill Moon/Xīao Yúeqīng just to know what happened to Nice/Nài Sī:

AND AND also the fact that Wreck chose to just let himself fall after learning the truth about what happened to Nice,

I think we can safely say they definitely match each other’s freak lolol, like under specific circumstances, they’d be a power couple as villains, like, I’d let the world burn for you X I’d let the world burn for you.

It's so FUNNY but so tragic. I love Nice. I like Lin Ling as a character but NICE is my hyperfocus target. And he died. In the start of the show. I'm really hoping he doesn't just get treated as Lin Ling's shadow and either ends up being alive OR we get more cutscenes about Who Nice Was. I'm guessing ep 4 is the conclusion... WHICH IS SAD. I really feel like there's a lot to expand upon in this story, like the implied queer relationship between Nice and Wreck, what truly drove Nice to suicide, why Nice's suicide was so easy to pull off (he has superhero abilities... jumping off a building to your death would at least be a little difficult, perhaps), and WHY was it so important to replace Nice when the method to creating heroes is relatively easy to manipulate? I shouldn't expect much. But given he's the very person Lin Ling is being forced to live as after his death, he's definitely a valuable asset to this story.
