Clark’s deadpan look as he reveals their coworkers are actually far stupider than Bruce thought is everything. I’ve rarely if ever seen Batman that scared.

how Nightwing fans feel after telling you that he, a grown man who had to take up guardianship for his little brother after their father was presumed dead for a few months, has eldest daughter syndrome (he has never raised a child in his life):
Oh my god LITERALLY THANK YOU it always makes me giggle (cause otherwise I would cry) seeing dick be described with “eldest daughter syndrome” because that idea ppl have in their mind just. Doesn’t exist. Or not to the extent they think it does because hello?? Dick Grayson for literally most of his time even HAVING siblings lived in a whole entire different CITY??? People forget he was literally an only child until he was 17-19 depending on the age difference between him and Jason. HE WAS LITERALLY ALLOWED TO HAVE A FULL CHILDHOOD AND REACH ADULTHOOD AND GO OUT ON HIS OWN BEFORE HE EVEN HAD ONE SIBLING. Matter fact, Dick leaving home to build a life for himself is what incentivised Bruce to take in Jason in the first place????
He wasn’t forced to raise shit, nor was he part of a system that systematically abused and forced WOMEN (keyword WOMEN) into caretaker roles and robbed them of the childhoods they deserved and/or the futures they wanted.
And the other side of this incredibly stupid and harmful coin, is when people dare to say Nightwing has experienced sexualisation on par with ANY woman, let alone women in comics. No, a few jokes about his ass while people respect him as a person, he’s drawn with a full-body-covering suit, he is universally agreed to be one of the most complex and interesting characters, does not fucking make him objectified to the level that female characters are, and it’s not even close.
It speaks of incredible ignorance and dare I say stupidity to even make that comparison because only until a very recent period in human history were women even seen as their own autonomous people and not second class citizens, property of the men around them. You’re fucking telling me NIGHTWING experiences the same objectification as women, who only RECENTLY started to not be viewed as objects and literal property??? How misogynistic and blind do you have to be??
I can count on ONE hand the amount of female superheroes that were never portrayed in a skimpy, impractical outfit that reduced them to pieces of meat with boobs and an ass, with no real depth to them except wanting sex and men. NOT EVEN UNDERAGE FEMALE CHARACTERS ARE SAFE. Female characters are constantly and still to this day rarely given the same, frankly BARE MINIMUM, treatment of being semi well rounded characters that male characters will and have always have had the privilege to receive.
A well rounded male character is the norm, a well rounded female character is an exception that should be celebrated. A sexualised female character is the norm, a sexualised male character is an exception that causes outrage. It’s so fucking infuriating and tbh if you honest to god even attempt to compare Dick Grayson, a complex male character since his creation, to anything a female character has experienced, I’d ask you to please get your head out of your ass and be so fucking for real.
That is not to say he doesn’t experience ANY objectification or sexualisation, because obviously he fucking does and his uncomfortable reaction to it is always treated as the butt of the joke (pun really not intended). But you can call out how harmful that is without minimising the experiences of women and female characters through comparing those two INCOMPARABLE situations.
And an interesting thing you’ll find that most of the time people who spew that rhetoric do not engage with female characters either AT ALL or not nearly to the level they engage with male characters and it really shows man. It really shows. Please look into your own biases and stop subjecting me to eye watering awful rhetoric.

The batkids physically lashing out at Bruce when they get angry because they know that he knows that they want him to duck away and not actually get hit.
But one day a Bruce who doesn't move. Doesn't duck the blow or twist so that it hits his chest instead of his ribs, who doesn't catch their wrist before they can make contact, because hes at his breaking point.
Because maybe this time he’s crossed the line and this time they don't want him to duck. Maybe this time they want to make contact and hit him for making the same mistake over and over and over again and maybe,
even though Dick gives him plenty of warning when he rocks back on his heels before throwing the first punch, he wants Bruce to know that.
And maybe the kids have a moment of shock, of horror, as they watch their fists, their staff, the butt of their gun, swing wide, and
Bruce does nothing, just stands there motionless, no hands raised to block, no twisting away to dodge, just makes eye contact with them and its too late to pull back, to soften the blow because its always been this dance so they never had to pull punches with him- because he was always fast enough- and theres nothing to do but watch in horror as their fist slams against his unprotected jaw. As the staff explodes against his ribs. As the gun collides heavily with his temple.
And the shock and horror as Bruce sacks to the floor, or stumbles, hands moving to staunch the flow of blood, or to cradle the injury, but watch in even further horror as he does no move away. As he just stays and waits for the next blow, the next hit, just waits and is willing to take it.
Because he hates himself that much. Because he’s crossed the line too many times and if they aren't willing to blame him for it he’ll do it himself.
Idk. angst on the brain... or smth

You love to see it.
Brucie Wayne accidentally killing the joker
This happens before Red Hood is revealed as Jason, but after he shows up. Bruce is at a gala and has been very stressed lately, which is why he was so caught off guard with the Joker arriving. A big thing about today? It’s Jason’s adoption day anniversary. Bruce is barely clinging to being good.
However, Joker has a new laughing gas that he thought would make everyone fall into a catatonic state of laughter, striking a blow against all of Gotham’s elite.
That’s what he thought it would do.
Instead, it lowered inhibitions and increased their emotions. It also reduced their ability to think things through. Doing this to Bruce, who is stressed with Red Hood making moves and Justice League stuff getting more stressful and it being the anniversary of the day he could finally welcome his beautiful boy into the family, only to be face to face with the reason he lost his kid?
It only takes one comment about the old Robin for Bruce to go feral.
He isn’t thinking things through, isn’t focused on how hard he is hitting things, or where they are moving until he’s on a balcony with the Joker, and he’s distantly aware he’s been screaming about the clown having done enough-
Everyone watches, spellbound, as Brucie Wayne, under the influence of this new gas, pitches both the Joker and himself off the balcony, twenty stories above the ground.
Red Hood catches Brucie Wayne.
No one catches the Joker.
The morning papers scream about how the Joker died from Gotham’s prince being drugged, and how the city’s new crime lord kidnapped Brucie before he could die.
Everyone in Gotham is in disarray.
Dick is panicking after seeing the headline. (He was in Bludhaven.)
Tim is cursing himself. (He was home sick with the flu.)
Jason is struggling with his emotions.
Alfred is loading his shot gun.
