"Method acting is bullshit because actors only use it as an excuse to be assholes" actors go method as nice characters all the time. You just don't hear about it because an actor spending six months exclusively wearing underwear with their role's initials embroidered on them because they feel that's what their character would do doesn't make for good clickbait.

I'd love to know your opinion as an actress on 8-10 episode seasons. Are they really better and less stressful for actors or do they just leave you with less work (and less money)? Would you prefer to film longer seasons every few years or shorter seasons every year?

Listen bub, I wanna act, y'hear? Movies, TV shows, voiceover - I'll do it all - I just love acting, see? It gets me going, it does it for me. I'm not in it for the money, there isn't any, and I don't care about fame - cause here's the secret of fame, kid: it's for sale. If you have enough money you can buy people's attention no sweat. No, I care about acting, I care about the craft, I went to so many goddamn drama school auditions and trained my ass off; I get rejected from 99% of the jobs I want and 99% of what I do get is sitting around in a trailer in the middle of the night doing nothing; but it's all worth it just to get those sweet sweet seconds of touching the Acting Force. Y'know what I'm talking about? The Acting Force, the Dionysian Spirit, Creative Flow State, Brando Particles, whatever you wanna call 'em there ain't no greater power in the universe. It's transcendence, see? Total bodily creativity. And that's why I don't care if it's 10 episodes, 20 episodes, or 1 fukin line - so long as I can act I'm doing exactly what I need to be doing.

I think doing voice for animation is... is probably acting in its most purest and ancient form. It's a bit like... the Greek form of acting, in the ancient Greek. where they had masks on. In our case, the mask is the animator's drawings, you know.
