Pt. 1

magic machinations: indecipherable premonition

Benjamin was running inside a mine, he moved with speed to stop hearing the screams coming from inside the machinery, he found a proper spot and he placed a flower bulb on the load bearing wall and the bulb grew roots and started rooting inside the wall.

A bird comes out from benjamin's sleeve and gives out a message-trifaldon give report- benjamin replies- trifaldon here, 3 bulbs more and we leave this place to bloom, mission seems easy but i'll keep my eyes open for any danger, over.

Benjamin goes around looking for more proper walls when he is discovered by two stone men, they attempt to strike against benjamin but he is simply too quick, the hero draws his chocolate sword and slices the stone man's limbs off.

The silent fragments fall to the floor and Benjamin places another bulb in one of the walls.

2 more and it's over- he thought to himself, tired of battle, missing home, but in this world there's no home left.

He infiltrated the power room of the mine and was surprised by the amount of light coming from Golden crystals, he placed another bulb and kept going deeper.

Near the end of everything he found what he thought to be the final power cell and he placed the final bulb and prepared to escape.

But…

From the shining cell a being crawled out.

Made of Steel and pain the behemoth rose, surprising Benjamin but not by much, he knew that this misión wouldn't be as simple as it appeared.

The metal god walked closer to benjamin and stared at him maybe unsure of its origin or what benjamin, benjamin stares back at this man shaped Monster towers over and he draws the first attack, the Steel behemoth dodges out of it with and jump and lands striking the ground.

Benjamin activates his Steel form as the metal god starts moving faster and counter attacking, the iron warrior hits benjamin with a jumping uppercut sending him towards the ceiling and after falling the warrior continues by punching him towards the wall, benjamin propulses from it and tries to strike the metal god but to no damage seems to be done.

Benjamin kept trying to figth the Steel behemoth as discordant music filled the room, it tasted like violence, as the behemoth grabbed Benjamin by the head he saw the Monster and saw a Golden flower blooming on his chest cavity and rage builds from inside him.

THAT'S NOT YOURS-he shouted and he attacked with his sword stronger than ever before, sending the metal god and himself backwards in recoil, Benjamin feels his rage boiling inside him like a steam engine moving faster as he tries to destroy the iron titan.

Each strike cutting deeper into the creature's metallic exterior still did not cause a reaction from it as if it was unable to feel pain.

EARTHQUAKES AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BREAK YOU DOWN- the scream came from the metal god but benjamin knew that that spell and that voice is not from it, the creature is a thief of magic and the tone of the recording is a scream of fear and desperation, as the earth shaked and the lightning hit the ground benjamin lost his balance and fell to the floor.

The metal God took his chance and grabbed the immobilized fighter, Benjamin quickly took his nougat shotgun and shot it at the behemoths chest breaking the dome of the Golden flower, unmoved the iron titan piledrived benjamin to the ground.

Benjamin struggled to breath after the attack and the metal god slowly moved away after neutralizing his attacker.

 it stood quiet as if it awaited for benjamin to get up again, and benjamin did struggling with his broken bones suffering in silence as he felt blood fill up his lungs, the behemoth stared at benjamin with his arms opened.

Benjamin went forward for one last stab, he ran with his sword pointing down and with his last strength he jumped and jammed his sword in between the metal god’s neck and chest, Benjamin grabbed the Golden flower and he pulled one of the petals out.

A small victory yet…

The side of his body felt cold, he saw the metal god’s arm stained red, and as he stared into his right shoulder he saw his right arm gone as out of his shoulder the warmth escaped from his body, the whole world then started to turn dark and his visión blurred except for one thing the face of the metal god staring at him slowly deforming into the phase of a deadman.

Benjamin woke up from his nightmare shaking and scared, the warmth of the bed helped him tranquilize, and he Heard the voice of his love approach him:

Benjamin are you ok?, you woke me up from how much you were moving so i got up and started making you some tea.

Benjamin remained silent, still terrified from his nightmare.

Buttercup entered the room with a teapot ready and two cups, the herbs blend was benjamin's favorite, buttercup spoke again:

Did you have that nightmare again?

So it seems.

¿Do you wanna talk about it?

I would prefer to finish my tea first.

Benjamin placed his lips and drank the hot beverage from the cup, he would blow first on any other ocasión but he wanted to feel the pain of burning his tongue to make sure he was awake. make sure he was alive.

Buttercup held him close and calmly as they seated together in their shared bed, she felt how Benjamin's body was ice cold.

I think you might need a break.

Why is that?

You keep having this nightmare every night you fight some maniac, i think you should let other members from the brigade handle it for a while.

Tercu my feeling of duty wouldn't allow it, you know me, you know i can take everything they throw at me and more, more that what anyone else could- benjamin was stopped as buttercup grabbed his head to forcé him to stare at her eyes.

Listen to me benjamin you're feeling of duty won't be of use if you can't sleep well at night if you keep burning the candle at both ends you Will drop dead eventually and my heart couldn't bear that.

Benjamin was stunned by her words and she continued.

So unless you want to leave me a widow before marriage you Will let me help you like you have helped me for the last 2 years, ok?

Ok ok i Will take that break, just calm down dear, i don't wanna see you tear up.

Alright then, we Will go Schedule that breaks tomorrow morning, do you want more tea?

No i think i'm warm enough to get back to sleep, may I hold you closer?.

Perhaps- said buttercup as she turned down the light,went under the covers with Benjamin and held his hand sharing her body warmth.

Te amo mi pimentón colorido- said benjamin.

et moi à toi mon homme de fer-blanc- responded buttercup.

advice i think we should tell children is that when adults say stuff like ‘now that i’m an adult i get really excited about stuff like coffee tables and bathrooms and rugs etc’ they don’t mean ‘and now i don’t care about blorbo and squimbus from my childhood tv shows anymore’ bc your average adult still loves all the same pop culture stuff they always did; they just have a greater appreciation for the mundane as well. growing up just means you can enjoy life twice as much now. you can get really excited about a new stuffed animal AND about a new kitchen sponge. peace and love

things I noticed immediately when I started presenting more androgynous:

1. strangers approach me far less, I don't get asked for directions anymore and Uber drivers never have convos with me

2. catcalling reduced by a bunch after I cut my hair very short, only happens when I wear makeup or form fitting clothes now

3. queer women are far nicer to me and compliment me more :)

4. dudes are more willing to joke and banter with me and seem to have less of a filter??? even tho the only thing that changed was my appearance :/
