i genuinely hate when people try to make mindless hating some kind of moral or objective analysis. just hate with your chest. and in the case of iron heart, just tell us you’re racist.. “iron man wouldn’t have done this” and that is why there are ironman movies??

also since i just did a marvel binge, what good old days are nostalgia merchants always talking about??… the first thor movie was absolute dog shit, hulk was cheeks, i love iron man but his movies were hollywood junk food, only the third one had some kind depth when they actually tried to get into his psyche. “who asked for” the guardians of the galaxy; they’re literally useless and ant man.. rant for another day. all before we talk about how endgame was also hollywood junk food. and in a way so was no way home. and loki; they accidentally created a fanbase for him so they haven’t known what to do with him for almost a decade. i still love most of these movies and superheroes but to pretend that marvel used to make cinematic gold before black people and women and god forbid black women started leading…(cuz that’s actually what they want to say)

i actually wasn’t going to watch iron heart cuz i don’t care for marvel phase 5 or 6 or whatever life there is after tony stark, but then racists review bombed it so now i’m seated out of spite…. just like i actually wasn’t a fan of captain marvel but now.. actually, she’s the greatest superhero in marvel comics.

i’m sorry… i had to grow up with people shitting on winx club, talking about how no villain is waiting for them to have their full transformations so with that logic, assembling a full body suit is not practical!! plus nano suits are cool asl; people are just nostalgia merchants. riri’s suit is cool and all but it’s clunky and impractical.

fan bias aside, tho i don’t even consider myself a diehard arianator, i genuinely can’t think of any actor amongst the people who auditioned or fan casts who can hit glinda’s notes?? maybe… maybe on a good day dove cameron?? and that’s pushing it cuz dove is neither a better singer nor better actor than ariana. like i get that pop stars are beneath actors in the “celebrity rank” whatever that means… but like it’s ariana!! it’s glinda!!
