Will you believe me if I said I was actually dreading to read this chapter? I saw the update early this morning when I woke up, it’s like 6:30PM right now and I was still hesitating, LOL.

Chapter 46 is currently available on the CLAMP-net’s YouTube Channel. Also, please check @meimi-haneoka’s page cuz she posts comparisons between the English and Japanese translations!! Nowadays, after I read a page from the YT video, I check to see if she has corresponding notes.

Kono Oto Tomare Chapter 89

Dun dun dundun!!! <3 TALK ABOUT A CLIFFHANGER! I ALWAYS SAY THIS BUT I REALLY CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER!

These scenes are from the latter part of the chapter. After their club practice scenes, they move to Baa-chan’s store and continue there. Satowa has previously mentioned that Chika’s nails were pretty much worn out. Chika asks Baa-chan for replacements and he gets the new set right after. Baa-chan sees Satowa coming out of the restroom and gives Satowa the old nails to give back to Chika.

Satowa looks at the old nails and sees how worn out they really are (testament to his hard work T_T). Satowa moves into the room and gives Chika his old nails (telling him not to forget about them). Chika smiles, says thank you and holds out his hand.

Satowa does not hand the nails to him directly though and places it on the floor in front of him. Satowa starts to turn around to go out of the room and says “Then…” Chika is surprised and tries to brokenly say, “Huh? Wait…”

Chika asks “What is that just now?” and Satowa answers with “What do you mean by what?” Chika tells Satowa that she definitely avoided him just now. Without looking at Chika, Satowa says that she did not avoid it and that it looks like he didn’t want to touch her. Chika says “Ha? What’s that? I don’t understand what you mean.” then remembers the scene in the club room where he pulls his hand away from Satowa’s. Chika tries to move in front of her to see her face and asks if this is about what happened earlier (if this is when he shook her hand off). He also asks if she is still angry about that. Satowa, tearing up with a full blushing face, tries to run out of the room. Chika looks surprised by her reaction.

Satowa shouts that it is nothing and that she isn’t angry. Chika runs after her and tries to say that she is angry and it is not really a big deal. He also tries to ask if probably her hand was hurt from that encounter. Satowa shouts that she wasn’t. She says that she didn’t touch because he said so himself (not really sure about this part. Hehehe. Sorry!). Chika asks when did he say something like that while running after Satowa. Satowa points out that Chika said earlier that it was his defense mechanism/defensive instinct. Chika tries to say that wasn’t what he really meant and holds on to Satowa’s wrist.

Chika pulls Satowa’s wrist so that she is facing him and tries to brokenly say “Your hand…what happened was… it means that…” Then, Chika stops himself from speaking and looks flustered as well. Takezou and Hiro are looking at them with Hiro blushing a bit.

Then, it is a cliffhanger for the next chapter. HAHAHA.

How has society gone so low? These people work their asses off to share their things to you and the gall for some people to just take advantage of their kindness? How dare you. I’ve gotten my ass burned from saying this before, but hell, I damn realized that y’all who keep defending thieves who profit off of these people also deserve all the worst in life.

BLCDs, in particular, cost a fortune because there are no digital copies and as I’m not financially stable, I can only buy so many per year. Think about how much Stephkat1986 and the other BLCD uploaders spend on them. A lot of people depend on Stephkat1986 and Cruciatus a LOT and to take them away from people like us is so heart-breaking. They’re the only link we have to those stuff and we’re losing them all one by one.

But y’all didn’t think about that when you kept robbing them - you only thought about yourselves. 

I’ve been in a limbo these past few months thinking if I should keep on scanlating or not, but fucking hell, I’m just so scared that there would come a day when ripping off my projects from me wouldn’t be enough.
