“well because it’s hard fitting in auradon already if you have powers, especially if they are dangerous and uncontrollable. everyone just looks at you like you are a monster.

“You’d be surprised.  People can find enjoyment in most anything.”  He smirked wryly before looking ahead at the park around them.  “Do you often just randomly destroy things when you’re frustrated?  It can be a good outlet.”

“that’s true, i sometimes feel like my roommate gets enjoyment over my misery.” the super chuckled. “pretty much, it can be a good outlet, but people tend to not be happy with it.”

“how about a rom com marathon? or maybe i can have dinner with you and your dad.”

“Nope, just a terrible idea.  I threw my dad in their too, and man that would be awful.”  Jay laughed a bit before quirking a brow.  “What ideas have you got?”

“lets see we could go shopping for hours and you have to hold more bags or go to an extremely fancy restaurant where you have to wear a stuffy suit.”

“i feel like you gave that idea on purpose, so it wasn’t a genuine bad idea.” she chuckled. “and i could think of bad idea.”

“Oh, I could likely come up with oceans of bad ideas.  Letting me cook a meal, take a juggling class, double date with your parents, or better yet, our parents. Something you truly hate doing.   There’s more I’m sure.”

“well if you do anything with my parents you will never be getting a second date since i will be locked up in a tower in our castle super fast. my parents don’t like vks or villains, like, at all. i mean, you’ve met my brother.”

“So does anyone know if this clean up project is going to provide… like, tour guides or maps? I haven’t been to the Isle before, but I’ve heard it’s kind of a mess. Some people are crap with directions and will probably just end up wandering around aimlessly most of the time. Asking for a friend.”

“i don’t think anyone should be going to that terrible place. i think that the villains and their little spawns should be put back on there not have us clean it up for them. they were the ones who caused it to turn that bad.” the girl replied to puck.

She seemed interesting, but he’d not decided to play with her yet.  She didn’t seem as  easily vain as most he’d interacted with.  “That is true, you don’t have to tell me.  You’ve just chosen an interesting bench.”  He chuckled softly before pushing onwards.  “Whatever you’re doing, you don’t seem to be enjoying yourself.”

“i’ve heard anyone really enjoying themselves when they have a terrible roommate and too much school work.” she replied to him. “and sometimes a little bench like this can be a nice escape, especially since my dad wasn’t too pleased the last time i wrecked my room.”

“I’m shocked. People not excited about magic?  Crazy.”  He lifted an eyebrow but nodded to a table nearby at the odd stick like thing.  “Is that it?’

“i know, it’s really shocking, people who fear magic; that has never been heard of.” the blonde chuckled softly. she looked at where he pointed out the wand. “yes, oh my gosh. my mom would kill me if it ended up in the museum.” the witch explained picking up the wand.

He’d forgotten how amazing his powers were when he was on the isle, the man adapting to his prison with relative ease, and was almost shocked on his return.  It’d been far too long since he didn’t have to guess at mortal desire, and could now just tell.  Made everything so much easier when he played with the little Auradon things that showed up in his bar.  

He was currently outside on a bench when he felt someone settle beside him, the man looking over and smiling at the pretty young thing at his side.  “Well hello there.  Waiting for someone or sitting on this particular bench with another purpose?”

malaya really needed an escape from her dorm room and school work and every responsibility the super had. she felt like if she didn’t leave sooner or later she would lose control over her powers and that would be bad for everyone who was nearby her. the super has never had control of her powers and it didn’t help being in a place where anyone magical was told to conceal who they were. 

she looked over at the villain. “or maybe i’m just sitting on a bench. no purpose, no reason.” she crossed her arms with a smirk. “no matter the reason i don’t have to tell you.”

“okay, so there might be a little problem.” the witch said to the male. “i might’ve misplaced my wand.. which is bad since not every adult is so friendly towards magic. so i kind of don’t want to lose it if the wrong person finds it.”
