hey, so I typed out two long responses to your recent replies but they disappeared the right after posting them... my other 3 comments from yesterday are gone too... i don't know if the OP deleted or if theres just a glitch, but I wanted to say thanks for such a fruitful and honest conversation. Essentially I think everything you said was super fair, and perhaps I assume complexity and nuance in situations to a fault, because thats just what I've personally experienced the most when encountering people. Perhaps I'm not a fan atm but rather a campaigner? Idk, I do think it's important for people to express to public figures the expectations that the fanbase hold. Without that pressure for good, I don't think as many public figures would have made public statements about the genocide for fear or cowardice of speaking politically. I don't think being a fan or a former fan should have or has to happen uncritically, so perhaps there's a place for just being someone who demands more from artists that used to earn more of my respect, without actively supporting them.

Oops, personally can still see all the comments on the blog so I think it’s just a glitch. But babe, BABE you are so nice and kind that trying to counter you feels like a crime. I’ve been trying to sneak in some praise in each of my replies not to seem like a weirdo if I started fangirling over you. Like SERIOUSLY, your responses are so well written and you giving me your whole thoughts process has allowed me to see the that you seem to always look for good in people, I can tell you are an amazing person. 

So I hope I didn’t make you feel bad for being yourself, for expecting complexity from creatures who ARE complex, for expecting mistakes from creatures who are flawed and I can just tell that this is how you operate in real life too and that makes you a sweetheart. It’s just a shame that when applied to celebrities everything becomes harder, because if we can see people make mistakes and grow in our day to day life, we can’t say the same for celebrities, they’ll just allow us to see what they want us to see and it’s fine until it’s not. Until they start making you question your own humanity and values. I am sure the members have not let us even take a peek at the complexity that shapes them and that is why I am unable to think of their mistakes  the same way I would to a friend who I know deep down are not bad, or that there is more to them than that. I also don’t think that you wanting to accompany them on their journey still is wrong either, I just hope with all of my heart that they end up being worthy of a person like you standing with them. They are lucky, really.

I am honestly so thankful that you’ve taken time out of your day to answer me and to give me a chance to shift my perspective and learn things I was unaware of. And I am also very thankful for the fact that I never felt you judging me throughout our conversation NOT EVEN ONCE. I was expecting you to tear me down tbh and this goes to show how fucked up the fandom is. It’s so annoying that people like us who see their flaws and who genuinely want them to do better, not even as artist but just as humans, will always be outshined by the loudest ones, the ones who see them as something akin to divinities, unable to make any mistake or poor choice, the ones who see them as true ‘’idols’’. I hate that they get called that, it just feels so wrong and I feel it’s part of the problem. They are so expected to be perfect that even when they are not, people still assume they are.

At this point it’s just me ranting (so sowwy) but I get so annoyed when I see on my feed these people going ‘’Prepare your swords, I am coming to defend my kookie 🥺’’ and start insulting all the people who want jungkook to own up to the mistake he made by wearing that racist hat, wether intentionally or not. The stupidity, the useless babying and the absolute lack of life and common sense make me want to pierce my own eyes out. So talking to you was a real breath of fresh air, I hope you live a great life and for bts to not let you down (:
