Everybody gets lonely... sometimes

Social networks are often useful to get attention from a crowd, your friends and relatives. But really it is just the reflection of who you are in real life rather a second world.

Social networks are fantastic to stay tuned and connected with everybody around the world, you know personally (Facebook), as well to share with people interested of the same topics as you (Twitter) or to connect with businesses for opportunities (Linked-in). Now with Pinterest you can show your style through pictures or videos, show who you are with no words, no need to type any text and you just have to share your dashboards. They hit 10M uniques, growing super fast as it is very easy and quick to share. Show who you are through others, it's like a creative pitch.

You can even create your own space with Tumblr, write down your ideas, express yourself, comment and share.

I like these capabilities to share and exchange quickly, but they should not replace the physical meetings and way of socializing. Social networks cannot replace a human interaction, the the fact not all emotions are capable to be perceived by the others through computers.

And as well don't forget most of the time we socialize by going out, having dinner, sharing experiences together. While social networks emphasize the "me", meeting people in real life emphasize the group.

Don't forget to call your friends spontaneously, even it has been a while since you have meet together and to meet with them... nothing replace human experience. Shut down your computer.
