Per lrb (the corpse is in your relationship) - all of my brilliant friends are in agreement so I think The Angel House is actually probably the best thing I've ever written and it's kind of wild that the only publisher who agreed was a Canadian horror fiction podcast company but the Canadians are mildly more adventurous with weird, slow fiction ime.

I'm generally allergic to self promotion but if you like stories about museums, houses, art, art conservation, war, looting, being the second wife, Bluebeard-adjacent activities, women not so much haunting the narrative but rather being the dead of gravity around which the narrative orbits, human taxidermy, implied lesbian necrophilia, and interpretations of real life history: you can read it here.
