Rebecca glanced around, a quick scan to see if they were still alright for the moment before a walker came stumbling out of the brush, even if it is quiet you can never be too careful.At the same time, she wondered the possibilities in… Bring the little girl back to the cabin?

The idea of another mouth to feed wasn’t a popular choice but it was just a little girl. The thought of just leaving her made her heart clench. And with her so close to motherhood…

"——yeah," Leah said, unsure of what to say in response. She bit her lip for a few moments as she looked down at her. "Do you need help?" Don’t be stupid.

"Oh." She shrugged, knowing that not everybody was going to like winter. But she wished they did. "I do! But, not when we have to be outside... Y'know?"

She pulled him a little further, giggling quietly at the two pairs of footprints that appeared behind them. She paused, looking up at him in confusion. "You don’t? Why not?"

"I think I'd like being a teacher." She admitted, trying to imagine it. "Maybe I will be."
