"I won't break anything and I'll make sure no one knows I'm here. And yes, I work for a princess. A bratty, fourteen year princess who looks exactly like you but acts exactly opposite." So, something like Aislinn's evil twin.

Elluka shook her head at the question, just happy to be able to sit down for a bit.

Aislinn’s already on it, grabbing a glass from the cupboard.

“Ice, no ice?” she asks while pouring the water, not registering the question for a few seconds as she took care of her friend.

“…A princess? Yeesh. Of course you can stay; I mean, as long as you’re careful not to, like… I… don’t know how my parents would react to random sleepover guest, is what I’m saying. But you’re not my first secret sleepover guest, so it’s not like I don’t have experience with that.” For one, she and Mie used to sneak over each other’s houses often, leaving their parents to a slight surprise in the morning–but they never were that upset, thankfully. And of course, she was always glad to help out–or just hang out with–her friends now.

“Anything else you need?”

I am really hoping Elluka Chirclatia will be the moon goddess, but let's be real, Mothy's gonna pull some shit on us and she'll probably end up being... I'unno, a reincarnated (preincarnated?) version of Milky Eights or something.

nah, milky already received her second 'use' as being the ancestress of mikina

ly's family makes a country that gets destroyed, irina becomes the big bad. and with the other characters: seth appears several times over as a demon, pale appears in spirit with neo apocalypse, kiril may very well have been a one time use character(though he'll likely pop up in something involving the ghoul children), eve becomes a demon, adam becomes a semi-demon, meta is there so hansel and gretel can exist and may have further use as well(but due to her ghoul child status there is no way she's mg), marina gives way to the lucifenia line

and elluka falls off the face of the earth, only ever appearing in spirit due to levia's meddling. with the way mothy builds up characters, everyone from the original sin gets an encore later in the series - except elluka. and for this character who has such an important ability, who has such a big role but is quickly killed off... there has to be more.

knowing mothy, he'll build up mg to be a very kind person who may know how to get everyone out of this mess, who can 'cure' and reset things and through it all he'll sprinkle little hints about her nature as a goddess no one will notice. he may even say in a novel from kiril's perspective "When I saw Elluka, she was the moon" or something and literally no one will know this is a hint until he outright states elluka's the moon goddess

then we'll look at wrath and capriccio farce, sigh heavily, and cry over history repeating itself

if truelluka is the moon goddess, she seems a lot like the greek moon goddess hecate: associated with light, the moon, magic, witchcraft; her symbol is a key/dagger; only child of a god of destruction and a star-goddess; the only ancient Titan who Zeus allowed to retain authority (maybe she allied herself with sickle thus he let her keep magic potential and/or the her-curing ability?); goddess of purifications and expiations; associated with plant lore and the concoction of medicines/poisons(?!)

i noticed that in the survival ma pv, there's one shot of elluka where she has differently-coloured eyes? one's the normal blue, but the other seems to be brown/gold... and my first thought when i saw that was "oh so she's like seth huh..." what do you think? is truelluka actually one of the masks with a will? a demon? the supposed moon goddess? or just a Really Special Human? and it makes me rethink about what might've happened to lukana who received her body...

how would alternate eye colors mean mask w/ will tho? i do know of the scene - its when you see all four girls with their weapons and elluka with the very weird legs and slightly cat-like mouth

as for moon goddess theory, i have pointed out many times how she is possibly the moon goddess. like... i could talk for hours on this. with how mothy uses characters, ellukas specific abilities, etc, I WOULD BE SO SAD IF SHE ISNT THE GODDESS

so probably absolutely moon goddess imo, but she could just be a really special human(i doubt it tho)

Elluka looked down at the body by her feet, regarding it with the same disgusted sneer Irina had worn just moments before. That thing lying dead and forgotten wasn’t her anymore; it was just another casualty of human selfishness and sin, a fragile and useless mortal being, a piece of trash that nobody bothered to clean up. Turning her gaze away from the now deathly pale corpse, Elluka glanced to the skies above, distantly noting the beauty of the full moon and the stars hanging overhead. (1/?)

The full moon… With slow, unsteady movements, she propelled herself upwards, furthering the distance between herself and her past—she needed to get away, to never look back. She didn’t want anything to do with that person lying on the cold, hard ground. She needed to think. To plan out her moves for the next few decades, or even centuries. She needed time to think, and she needed a long time. But it was okay. She had all the time in the world anyway, now. (2/2)
