Leanne getting recognition for her character genuinely means so much to me. For anyone new to me or my page - hi, my names kendall, and ive been really really really really REALLY fixated on leannegears for years. no, really, go on twitter and just search ‘leannegears’. im everywhere.

they really mean a lot to me. when i say im a gears fan i mean more so in the sense that I really love pre foundation gears. i love his background with the siegel family, his council lore that ive made up for the most part, but more importantly the absolute heartbreak of his own family. leanne going insane after he leaves and alisons searching across the multiverse to achieve a goal so far out of reach but always right there infront of them

i think about Moldhouse a lot for this specific reason as it’s the only wiki tale that has leanne more than a mention. This will sound silly but for the three years that I’ve fixated on Leanne, she has been nothing but a simple mention on a dossier - my fixation built around lore that I’ve mostly just made up and fueled the fire with new lore and ideas, it’s become genuinely the strongest fixation ive ever had and seeing her get more content after so long of it literally being JUST me is so. auuuughhhh.

There are slivers of content of course that drive me crazy like Leanne being unable to look at Alison in the eyes because she looks like Gears too much or the fact she spent the last few years of her life in and out of hospitals due to developing mental illnesses and genuinely going crazy over his disappearance. I’m so normal about them

Something about tenderness/Leanne Gears

A gentle reminder: this blog is a safe place for everyone who considers Gears' pre-Foundation life - as well as his family there - an important part of his story and wants to ramble about it.

Now, as I have given Leanne some nice visual shape, it is rather difficult to stop thinking about this poor girl. These lads deserved each other, sure - I doubt that Gears had something off about him before going too deep into anomalous sciences and making ties with the Foundation - but their ending just provokes me to do something to imprint at least one nice, non-painful image about them so we'd have something to cry over about. I don't remember if she had taken her husband's name or if her family surname remained after marriage, but I guess that whatever the answer is their affections to each other are the same.

And yes, Leanne Zhu Chao is the only character whom I currently allow to be painted as an anime girl
