How to make The Sims 4 feel like Life Is Strange?

I've been a massive fan of the franchise since 2015 when the first game came out. I love all four games, and I'd even toss Tell Me Why into the mix even though it's not part of the franchise. But if I had to choose, I'd say Life Is Strange 2 is my absolute favourite. It's pretty obvious if you look at my story. Two brothers, Little Wolf and everything. I'm just in love with every aspect of the game. The unique stories, that incredible soundtrack, and of course all the characters. But you know what truly captivates me? It's the game's art style. I'm a sucker for that woodsy, indie, and artistic aesthetic. I've been trying to bring that vibe into The Sims 4 for quite some time now. Luckily, there's so many Simmers out there who love Life Is Strange as much as I do, and they even create custom content inspired by it. This is getting quite long, so let me just say what the purpose of this post is. I've put together a little list of resources with everything I use to make my Sims game feel like Life Is Strange. Now, I know it doesn't include everything that is available for download (like conversions), but I just want to recommend the stuff I personally use in my game. I do want my game to feel more like LIS, but I'm also a maxis match player at heart, and I don't like when something looks out of place. If you've got something you think should be on this list, feel free to let me know!

World recommendations

In my opinion, the perfect worlds for a Life Is Strange inspired gameplay would be my all time favourite Moonwood Mill (Werewolves) and Copperdale (High School Years). They both appear to draw heavy inspiration from the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, and I imagine they're located quite close to each other. I pretty much treat them as one interconnected world. Same with Evergreen Harbour (Eco Lifestyle). If you don't own any of them, I think Glimmerbrook (Realm of Magic) or even Brindleton Bay (Cats & Dogs) would also work very well. Hell, even StrangerVille or Chestnut Ridge (Horse Ranch) could do the trick!

♥ Download the package file and put it right in your Mods folder! (up to 5 folders deep)

♥ You can only have one loading screen in your game at once, remove any other before putting this one in! (unless you have the loading screen randomizer)

♥ Reshade is off in these previews, if you have reshade/gshade on they will look a little different

♥ if kirby temporarily moves wicked fast during loading, that's normal! the regular plumbob does it too, but it's less noticeable!
