One of my top 3 scenes in the movie definitely contains the scene after the peach scene when oliver comes into the attic to find a sleeping elio. he woke him up in definitely the sweetest way after having missed being close to him since that night they spent together. he finds the peach and after joking and teasing elio about it, theres this moment where he wants to eat it, bc gosh, he wants to make one with elio, how “every cell in his body must never die, and if it does have to die, let it die inside of HIS body”. and elio, young innocent enamoured elio, doesn’t get what is happening to him, it’s starting to get out of control bc its no more only lust that he feels for the man, but much much deeper feelings, that lead him to not even consider life without his man, his king, his lover, his everything. he just breaks down, bc he never want to let the love of his life go, never ever ever, cause he’d rather die than letting it happen. thats when oliver kisses his tears, and that fucked me up real bad. he kisses his eyes, one after the other, and doesn’t want to let go either, bc fuck how much he loves that man too.
