I’m screaming rn. This is what I LOVE. the anime coloring and shading and partial art style, but people can really tell that it’s also yours.

it look so good too, I honestly like their rounder features better than the sharpness that Bones gave them. It really emphasizes their age and the fact that they were still kids back then

I really love how Tetchou felt comfortable enough o sleep around Jouno, especially given the instinct drilled into all soldiers is that one wrong nap can lead to death in a war.

there’s also Tetchou being comfortable with Jouno’s weight on his. And Jouno’s design, the scars match him really well and he looks so pretty with a red tail

Even as the strike ends, the Palestinian genocide has not.

Now more than ever, there are so many conflicting voices. People with their own self-serving, hateful motivations speak over us, and sometimes our own voices can turn against us. We may feel like our voice isn't enough or we aren't doing enough.

This is why it's so important to learn to shut down that noise. No matter how much people scream that what we're doing is useless or a waste of time, keep talking. Keep talking about Palestine. I especially love how the magenta if his eyes is more red leaning compared to the purple leaning in and manga and the pink leaning in the anime.

it provided a nice contrast to his skin and hair and also highlights the connection to the apple(maybe a bit a a reach, but I’m thinking bible/forbidden knowledge motif) and the blood/apple juice(probably blood since that ties in better with Fyodor)

the most frustrating thing about AI Art from a Discourse perspective is that the actual violation involved is pretty nebulous

like, the guys "laundering" specific artists' styles through AI models to mimic them for profit know exactly what they're doing, and it's extremely gross

but we cannot establish "my work was scraped from the public internet and used as part of a dataset for teaching a program what a painting of a tree looks like, without anyone asking or paying me" as, legally, Theft with a capital T. not only is this DMCA Logic which would be a nightmare for 99% of artists if enforced to its conclusion, it's not the right word for what's happening

the actual Violation here is that previously, "I can post my artwork to share with others for free, with minimal risk" was a safe assumption, which created a pretty generous culture of sharing artwork online. most (noteworthy) potential abuses of this digital commons were straightforwardly plagiarism in a way anyone could understand

but the way that generative AI uses its training data is significantly more complicated - there is a clear violation of trust involved, and often malicious intent, but most of the common arguments used to describe this fall short and end up in worse territory

by which I mean, it's hard to put forward an actual moral/legal solution unless you're willing to argue:

Potential sales "lost" count as Theft (so you should in fact stop sharing your Netflix password)

No amount of alteration makes it acceptable to use someone else's art in the production of other art without permission and/or compensation (this would kill entire artistic mediums and benefit nobody but Disney)

Art Styles should be considered Intellectual Property in an enforceable way (impossibly bad, are you kidding me)

it's extremely annoying to talk about, because you'll see people straight up gloating about their Intent To Plagiarize, but it's hard to stick them with any specific crime beyond Generally Scummy Behavior unless you want to create some truly horrible precedents and usher in The Thousand Year Reign of Intellectual Property Law

HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT

this is one of my favorite type of fan art. I love fan art in general, the way people take different way of portraying the same media always put me in fan mode and analysis mode. All fanart gives me chills(good ones)

But ones where the artist take the original art style and puts their personal tweaks and twists on it is like being dunked in the ocean during the summer

Like the fact the the coloring elements all so similar to to BEAST manga is great. But what really captures my attention is the roundness and the subtle softening of features that wasn’t in Hoshikawa-sensei’s panels. Just a change in face shape could send across an entirely new read on expressions

Uh…so yeah
