hello hello! just a little announcement that this blog will be on a semi-hiatus.

i’ve spent the last two days moving out into a townhouse for college– i’m not completely settled in yet, but i will also be starting school monday! this is my freshman year, so i don’t know what the workload will be like, so replies will be much slower. thank you for reading ♥

Thoughts on Levi.

         “Captain Levi, y’mean. Worked so hard for the title, I’m sure of it, so I figure he’s entitled to hearing people put it to use, huh? Heh. But that’s the level of comfort I have around him, to be able to simply address by his name without experiencing any kind of guilt. I’m…not entirely sure if it’s mutual, but in my eyes, he’s very important to me.”

        “I’ll admit, it’s difficult to read him. Sometimes I can’t tell if he’s hiding something, or if he just prefers to do the listening while I talk on and on. And then there’re moments where I can clearly notice a plethora of things troubling him, but he – never really opens up to me, y��know? And it’s frustrating…–not being able to do anything to change that feeling, I mean. In the long spans of time we spend away, I’m always diving back to the thought of his state, whether he’s making sure to take care of his health in addition to catering to others like he always does. He’s a – wonderful man. Anyone can see that, I’m sure of it, but…–not him.” She pauses. “…Would it be selfish of me to say that – I wish for more time with him? Probably. Aha, forgive me. When it all comes down to this haze of feelings that linger in my heart, one thing is clear.                           He’s the type of person I’m prepared to give my life up for.”

        At that, she moves to LEAN against the wall, arms folding beneath her bust before silver         gaze DROPS & she lets out a light C H U C K L E.  

                    ❝ Perhaps I’ve just grown to know you TOO WELL. ❞

        Brows F U R R O W slightly, crown of silver CANTING the slightest degree before pallid         lips part & she asks.  

                    ❝ How long has it been since you’ve received a good night’s SLEEP, Levi? ❞

{ ♚ };; — Strange to think that he’d find himself seeking solace from another-- especially her. He wouldn’t have imagined their relationship to reach this point. A blank stare focuses on the cup before him, a weary reflection in the liquid greeting the soldier.

He muses over the question, despite knowing the answer.

“Too long,” comes the vague response, “--I’m not sure.”

        She wouldn’t dare break her promises. Although brief guilt spread across her features, there are no regrets she holds for journeying far – because, this way, she returns an evolved soul, someone worthy of returning to those dear to her heart. Lips flicker northwards, sporting a smile dripping of grace to one that allows her to naturally rejoice in her return.

        “–Way too long. But I’m glad…–guess I don’t have to beat anyone up for you. Since you look like you’re doing well.” And what a large weight off her chest that is. “Guess I won’t be…getting a smile out of you, huh?”

{ ♚ };; — His lips purse tightly as he gives her a blank stare; the urge to humor her is too hard to resist. He looks down for a moment before a chuckle escapes the soldier, the smallest of smiles appearing. Levi mutters a small curse before a hand covers his face, though his arm falls at his side once more. He’s more than happy to see her again; he’s grateful to know that she’s back and that she’s safe.

Ugh-- he’s absolute shit with this type of stuff.

“--I didn’t miss you at all.”

Nope. Not even the slightest bit.

{ ♚ };; — It’s not incredibly uncommon to find comrades sitting in the mess hall during the late hours; most people are asleep at this time, but those who cannot get rest find themselves lingering in this place. He’s exhausted; weariness is etched upon sharp features, though he ignores the stares of others as he walks in. There is one person who catches his eye, though-- 

“-- Didn’t expect to see you here.”

{ ♚ };; — His expression doesn’t change when he first sees her, but he’s much more alert when the familiar face is recognized. It’s been sometime since they’ve last encountered each other; the soldier is pleasantly surprised to see her once more-- though he would never admit that.

“Long time no see, right?”

{ ♚ };; — He focuses on the other, gaze shifting to the cup in hand before accepting it. Quietly, the soldier offers a word of thanks before gingerly sipping on the tea. Her smile is pleasant, offering the slightest bit of solace.

“You’re always around,” he jokes lightly, “--guess you’ve got a sense to know if something’s up with me.”

        She’s QUIET as she approaches, only pausing when he SPEAKS. Her gaze is KIND         & GENTLE, a hand lifting in order to O F F E R the Captain a cup of tea. Silver eyes         meet his own tired gaze, & pallid lips P U L L into a small smile before she SPEAKS.

                    ❝ You look like you need it, my dear. It will help you relax. ❞

{ ♚ };; — No, he’s not in a particularly good mood. Sleep does not come easily anymore-- it hasn’t for a very long time. But lately, horrific visions haunt the captain at night. Fatigue grows with each passing day, hours of sleep lost to nightmares.

He is too tired.

“--What do you want?”

hi;; i’m so sorry i kinda just...disappeared. it makes me sad when people do that and i just?? gah i feel terrible. but i hope everyone has been doing well!! i miss everyone a lot and i think i’m going to go back to roleplaying--

but i think my muse for levi is gone-- i’m sure it’ll come back once season 2 comes out (which is in a year rest in rip) ahh but i think i’m going to rp as sasaki haise from tg:re!
