My Blog is Mostly Politics Free

And here's why

As many of you have see in my intro post, I avoid talking about most forms of politics on this blog

And the thing is, I have my reasons

Nobody really asked, but on my blog before this one I got harassed for not being involved in politics so I wanted to get it out of the way on the sooner side

The first one being: I'm a trans/nonbinary minor, who isn't straight, with gay and trans parents, a gay younger sibling, a POC younger sibling (I am white passing, she is not), all of us are non-Christian, and we're currently living in America. Many, if not all of my friends are at least one of these: gay, trans, people of color, or non-Christian. I am within a lot of minorities, despite being white passing. This makes involving myself in extra politics really stressful for me

The second reason: my mental health, is extremely inconsistent, but it tends to be on the lower side. Now, if I were an adult I would be more involved because it's really important to me. But as a minor, my main priority is to protect myself and my mental health

The third reason: I want this blog to be a safe space for everything that doesn't include hatred of any form. Which means I don't want my blog to be stressing people out when they come to see witchcraft and HelPol information

And the final reason: this tumblr is my safe space. This is my break from the hatred in the world and from the level of involvement that I have in the outside world. I have the contact info of my local and state politicians and I've met a lot of them in person too. I am involved, it just isn't going to be on this blog

I know this can be controversial because I am aware that it's important to be involved in politics and be aware of what is affecting people around the world. But as a minor, that isn't where I'm able to be right now. When I turn 18, I plan on being more involved, but I have been in the politics world since I was very young and this is the only escape I have right now.

If you disagree with my decision, you can unfollow me and block me. However, I will not accept any harassment over this decision.

what is your source for that. theologically. historically. where are you getting this information about religious concepts. from a culture that didn't even have a word for religion. how did you develop this doctrine. from a practice that does not have sacred texts. please. inform me, oh enlightened speaker of the gods.

Friendly reminder to the Pagan community that if someone is claiming to be a god, please just block and don't argue. They are either rage baiting or they genuinely believe it, and neither of those situations are good to feed into

I just had a commenter tell me he was Apollo, so I looked at his page and this guy had made at least ten posts just today talking about starting a plague and how we'd be sorry if we didn't believe him, and only like half of it was legible, and that's not someone you really want to argue or fight with

So just block and move on, there's not much we can do about it, I don't think

listen i KNOW the gods dont get mad at us for trivial things but MAN does it feel like Lord Hermes has something against me these days because i had to take a bunch of trains yesterday and today and something went wrong EVERY TIME and i dont even really know if i did something wrong

yesterday the train was 30 minutes late upon arrival, today the first one i wanted to take was delayed for an entire hour so i had to buy a new ticket to take another one, then i had to take a train back but i literally just missed it (it left right in front of me because i got LOST in the station which never happened to me before) so i had to buy a ticket for another train that left from a different station and somehow i fucked something up and bought two ????? AND the new train got delayed because they inverted 2 tracks and had to correct it????

i’ve NEVER gotten this many problems with trains and im used to taking them regularly so idk if he’s trying to send a message or something but man 😔 i have to take THREE trains tomorrow and i cant have ANY of them delayed im terrified about what is about to happen and i cant even properly pray to ask him to let everything go smoothly because im not home 🥲

this is especially unusual because one of my main qualities is that im usually really good at handling public transportation like as long as i have a train, subway, tram or even bus line i can go anywhere 😔 idk i may be reading too much into this
