call me petty and you'd be right but I think Mclaren's utter failure to congratulate or even acknowledge Hulk for being on the podium with them, even in their social media posts, is a fascinating insight into that team

I love that dylan didn’t even really know what the fuck was going on he just saw helly blocking the door surrounded by the marching band and was ready immediately to lock in with the vending machine like that’s a true comrade

This desk used to have four seats. Our friend Irving is gone, and they want our whole department gone. If he gets out, we're dead. They're gonna turn us off like fucking machines. You've seen them do it. I know you've lost friends, too. And you could be next. You could be next. They give us half a life and think we won't fight for it.

"From the very beginning the idea of the season, was to get to this moment where Mark had to make a choice between Gemma or Helly. Who is he going to have an allegiance to? His innie, or his responsibility to his outie?" - Ben Stiller "It isn't until that moment that he pushes her through the door and is looking at her and realizing he has no feelings for this person. And then Helly calls his name. And then it's just 'omg, if we just stay here, maybe we can be together for another 10 minutes? Who knows? I don't think they're thinking more than 10 seconds into the future. But it was going into the unknown, and never existing again, or going with Helly." - Adam Scott
Damn.

She's not your wife... because no one would treat someone they love the way she's treating you. Like all the outies treat us. Like everything's for them.

I know we all always talk about Helena’s whole “You are not a person” thing but if we’re being super honest? None of the outies think of their innies as people with their own lives and agency UNLESS they’re serving them somehow. Tbh even Devon I don’t think she views Mark S as his own person with his own wants and needs.
Mark - Reintegrates without iMark’s permission, only refers to them as a team when it serves him, brings him to birthing cabin an environment he doesn’t understand, knowing he’ll have to talk to his scary abusive former boss. Using him to find Gemma.
Devon - She’s nice to iMark sure but she still brings him to the cabin and then brings him to this cabin he’s unfamiliar with, he’s only been outside like one time! And doesn’t even explain to him what’s happening before bringing him up to Cobel who she knows terrifies him. And she’s using him to find Gemma.
Dylan - If he’s talking about making money then they’re the same. But when it comes to him having a bit of happiness with his wife then she’s cheating on him cause they’re different. He’s glad to use iDylan’s labor and take credit for it though!
Irving - Fully using iIrving for his plan to take Lumon down and is using him as a spy never even occurs to him that his innie may have his own life until he meets Burt and even then still doesn’t fully seem to understand he’s a real person.
Burt- Using iBurt to redeem himself basically. Doesn’t seem to really even fully realize his innie has a whole life in there until he finds out about Irving. And even then still talks about how he’s using him.
Ironically, Helena is the only one who fully understands the innies have their own lives. Because she’s the only one who has actually interacted with them and spent time with them. She still views Helly as a different person than herself. But she still basically views what Helly has as hers that’s why she tried to steal the love Helly’s family has for her because she’s not loved by her own family. And she would kill Helly without a second thought if she could because she views Helly as yet another person stealing her bodily autonomy. Not to mention the extreme jealousy she has that Helly actually is loved and is more free than her. But I do think, ironically. Helena is the only one who does understand the innies are people. That just makes her hate Helly more though. She’s a person who possesses things Helena is DESPERATE to have. And she’s using her body to get it! Helena would probably love to go back to not thinking the innies aren’t people. But she can’t go back.
