Ok, has anyone here read the thursday murder club series?

I'm just about to finish the second book and it struck me that Joyce and Elizabeth are like older versions of Catherine and Diana.

Joyce is the nicest person you will ever meet, she's caring, and she's also extremely curious and clever. She's a bit naive sometimes but she also knows her way around the world. "Coercion through kindness" is used to describe her way of handling things. She's a (way) less traumatized version of Catherine but still.

And Elizabeth? She's Diana's twin through and through. She's a retired spy who worked for the MI5, she's sharp and dangerous. She doesn't like humour and can be very cruel sometimes. She also loves to scheme, and here lies the difference between her and Diana, Elizabeth's plans actually work out in the end.

Elizabeth and Joyce are opposites, but they work very well together as partners (in crime and in solving crimes together). I can see that for Catherine and Diana as well.

And now I really want to read something about Catherine and Diana solving a crime together or something along these lines.
