We are in the post-Lover and the failed coming out era. She was the sheriff of a queer town which was a dream that didn’t come true. She didn’t get to be out and open.

No one writes about tragedy without experiencing it themselves. I don’t think you can grasp the concept without a lived experience.

Also, why have they written always imagined in quotes.

Furthermore, she talks about breaking free and leaving it all in ruins, taking the dagger and removing it. She talks about regret and the contrasting reality of where she is and where she wanted to be.

"She is the best thing that's ever been mine" love locket released on Elijah's birthday despite SN anniversary being 4 days ago and the Mine Music Video specifically is the one where Taylor has 2 sons. 1 with blonde hair and 1 with brown hair. Right...right...

In consideration of the fact that right before she performed Mine 2 months before Elijah was born, she said and I quote...

Hi! I am super excited awaiting little Eli’s birthday. I am curious to know what Taylor will do this year, last she sang Robin and never grow up but I cannot imagine anything she can celebrate those days, at least not like she celebrates Levi’s birthday with posts about the years since she won the Grammy. this is a fragment of a thought but, do you ever think about how the only real lilac short skirt presented to us is the one that taylor included in the youtube short that she put out in conjunction with ttpd’s release?

if the insinuation in the song is that the skirt was a present for taylor, and, since that clip is mixed in with footage of her and trav cooking and her holding a chiefs pickleball paddle while wearing the skirt (and given the many many articles telling us that he loves getting her presents!) i would venture to guess that the base assumption to be made by all is that he bought her the skirt.

but it’s just a little funny because, imgonnagetyouback is a song that suggests a history between her and the person who bought her the skirt. it’s someone she’s singing about getting back or getting back at etc. does he really fit the bill?

and we also got glimpses of this skirt in the i can do it with a broken heart music video, which shows footage of her putting together the ttpd set to add to the eras tour shows. so while this footage lines up with the idea that it’s a recent purchase, i also thought it’s interesting for the skirt to be tied to eras tour practice in general. that is to say, optically, the skirt sort of ties imgonnagetyouback to the eras tour.

and indeed, it’s been pointed out before that the line “bygones will be bygone eras fading into grey” is reminiscent of eras tour. so it isn’t new ground i don’t think.

but anyway it made me think about how a narrative could be crafted, wherein taylor might have been gifted this skirt by someone while practicing for eras tour, and getting all flustered by it —oh the nerve of this someone! oh but i like it!— and then, during practice, she’s wearing this skirt and thinking about how she’s going to get back this person via eras tour.

and it just… conjures up the image of someone in particular. someone taylor could push the reset button on, someone who they’ve lost all the pieces to their game together with (and someone who kept instagramming with pics of a chessboard missing pieces), but who still wants to play. i dunno, i just think…

This might be a stretch but I just found a song from 2003 called Big Sur which has this ^ in the lyrics.

Of course I was reminded of the lyrics in Cornelia Street which also mention streetlights and guiding/leading home.

So now I'm wondering if Taylor was referencing this Big Sur song to tell us Gaylors/Kaylors that know about their trip to Big Sur that Cornelia Street is about Karlie Kloss. As if it wasn't obvious without this connection.

So I thought Olivia and her boyfriend are real but now I'm not so sure gaylors have been pointing out similarities to when Taylor and Travis went to the US open It really seems like the performance art their doing is Olivia is another Barbie you can dress up and play pretend with but instead of blonde Barbie now theirs brunette it also seems like the New romantics are making a point that the music industry and entertainment treat people like puppets

Okay this is actually insane???????? What do you mean we are suppose to believe these are both Karlie on the exact same day????

The hair length and style is entirely different. Left side has longer wavy hair framed on the sides no hair in the front. And then the front framing on the right side pic looks like bangs and the hair appears full on straightened, slightly shorter, and even cut at an angle on the bottom. It's quite literally the style of Taylor's current hair no doubt about that

Just in general that doesn't appear to be the exact same dress, it is extremely similar but hard to tell since left side pic has the strap further down the shoulder due to position.

But the way she put these 2 pics back to back?? Like the right side pic could absolutely be Karlie if it was just that pic alone because we know Karlie and Taylor lookalike but if that's Karlie on the left on the same exact day then there's just no way that could be Karlie on the right????

Like am I missing something or is that just blatantly Taylor on the right. Like maybe the heat could have flattened the hair but that would not explain the cut at the bottom being drastically different and why the right pic clearly has bangs
