Introduction Time!!

Originally I was going to do this all in one post but then this was really long so it'll just be separate :/

Alexey Kuznetsov

Backstory:

Grew up in Moscow during the 50's and 60's

His birthday is January 16, 1946

alternate universe where the Cold War escalates to the point of the U.S. and the Soviet Union actually declaring war on each other

Anyway, his dad was a scientist and after the success of Sputnik 1 in 1957, the Soviet government called for another satellite, (Sputnik 2 - famously with Laika) but his dad, Yuri, thought that putting a dog in a satellite/rocket was a bad idea, and expressed his opinions at the meeting discussing the project

Next day no Yuri.

Yuri's disappearance caused the family to gradually fall into poverty, and eventually forced Alexey to drop out of school when he was 14 to help support the family (1961)

When he's 19 he gets drafted to help fight the Americans, because they've officially declared war on the USSR - he's upset at first but it pays really well so he becomes less upset (1966)

While he's away, his older sister Katerina basically does what he's been doing (The mom is totally out of commission.)

He's got a lot of siblings.

in 1973, he's 26, and gets shot three times by an American during some battle (there aren't any I can take from history bc this never happened and I don't wanna make up one in case it's implausible)

Anyway, he dies, and then ends up in the city. (I'll explain that in a separate post)

Random things:

His favorite color is dark blue

He actually cannot stand bugs it's so bad lmao

He tried really, really hard not to learn English, but the language barrier was so bad he just gave up

He's got a noticeable accent but it gets worse if he's stressed or smth

He doesn't really like loud noises, it's not even ptsd, he's never liked it

Speaking of ptsd, do NOT bring this man anywhere near fireworks

Doesn't like bland food - it reminds him of his teenage years

He was really thin as a teenager and adult because he never really got enough to eat after his dad died

Once he started getting comfortable with The City, he put on a fair amount of weight bc he had pretty much unlimited access to food when he was going days without it before

He's not a huge fan of it.

Summer is his least favorite season (bugs)

He realized (sometime after dying) that he actually really enjoys math. So. He's weird.

Appearance:

He's kind of average height (5'10") or so

Really dark brown hair, grey eyes, and pale skin

He's got a couple freckles here and there but nothing really significant

He wears glasses only after he died, because he couldn't afford them while he was alive

I mentioned this before, but he's kinda heavy, a little over 200 lbs I think (some of its muscle though)

I didn't realize until after I made him that he looks a lot like Dmitri Shostakovich

Hello!!

This is my second account where I’ll post OC stuff, because it didn't realy feel right to put that on my main

My main blog is @whoknows-anymore28, and that's got a lot of IHNMAIMS, fanart, and other stuff like that. It's kind of old, and I haven't really done anything with it in awhile but feel free to check it out
