do you think Shaw would ever get jealous over Root? if so how she'd show that?

Hm… idk. Tbh I think she wouldn’t. Not because she can’t be jealous or anything, but because I think that there’d be nothing to be jealous over? I mean, Root is completely 100% into Shaw, and Shaw knows that. If they came to start a relationship, I’m p sure Shaw would be confident enough to know that there’s nothing to be jealous over, because Root wants her, exactly the way she is. 

But if Shaw did get jealous over Root, I think she’d start to distance herself, close off and “prepare for worse”. I mean, that’s usually the go to for people who have been rejected a lot, and we know Shaw has been. 

Whenever Root mentions feelings to Shaw or tries to talk about both of them as an item, specially in s4, Shaw always either deflects or basically admits that she can’t be with Root because she doesn’t have what she thinks Root needs/wants. If there actively was something to be jealous over (like she actually saw Root with someone), I think Shaw would prob think it’s her fault, at least at first. I mean, she has been turned down again and again and again because of who she is, it’s not that huge of a leap to think it’d be her fault here again. So consequently, I think she’d start to distance herself from Root, maybe get a little passive aggressive to get Root to want to be away from her, and then “shut down” that feeling, till you don’t feel it anymore. 

That said, I really really really don’t think Root would consciously do something to make Shaw jealous. I don’t think she’d do that to Shaw, specially cause she keeps having to tell Shaw that she is into her the way she is, why would she do something to destroy all the “progress” she has made with her?
