I’m so glad you like it! It took me way longer then it should have frankly, and I can’t rly do the pencil look with my style or else I would have bc their designs are definitely meant to be drawn with that lol

That's alright! I'm glad you put the effort in to do it! The pencil look is specifically from the HB Pencil brush that comes default with Procreate, which I use on my ipad as a sketchbook. It's a lot harder to achieve with the photoshop brushes I got, and I have yet to find a CSP brush that feels quite right in the same way. So almost all the Noirsong art is done on the ipad.

Omg!! I love it :D Thank you so much!! That has got to be an awkward car ride...  And yeah the houndstooth pattern is really hard, half the time I don’t even bother and just do a crosshatch  lol

Tfw the white hat to your black hat’s car breaks down and your personal assistant makes you give her a ride to the scene of a case but you spend so long fighting over who gets to drive that eventually you get stuck in the backseat with your kinda nemesis you definitely don’t have a crush on. 

Ignore how badly I messed up the houndtooth pattern on kiwi’s clothes, but either way I’m pretty proud of this! It’s not my best work, but it’s still pretty nice!

Is it ok if I make something with maudrey in it for the noir song au? I ship them but I know a lot of people don’t so I’m making sure it’s extra fine with you(just in case you forgot to mention it or something)

Oh sure!!! I don’t mind any ships if people wanna play with them.

Honestly my only rule is “don’t be a jerk”. If you can be nice, you can share the sandbox as long as you like 😂

Noirsong design ref

Miriam’s wearing a pretty traditional kind of trenchcoat, but I found drawing the buttons and waist-tie made it look a little too overwhelming on the details so... just pretend they’re there I guess.

the Bard wears a victorian Ulster coat w/ houndstooth pattern a la Sherlock Holmes; the capelet is directly attached to the collar and not removable, I just wanted to show what was underneath.

There’s also an “onstage” alt costume for times when the Ulster coat would be inappropriate haha. Yes thats a different hat. Slightly smaller and with a floppy feather for the Drama
