update: this is no longer a mutual aid for a new pair of glasses; i lost my job and am in desperate need of help to cover rent, bills and food for this and next month. my electricity bill is due on wednesday and i'd hate to start the holidays without power so please i just need a little help to get back on my feet. please if you can donate or reblog my post it would be greatly appreciated. absolutely worst timing

Yall should write Black characters celebrating kwanzaa. I never see anyone mentioning Kwanzaa ever. It's a fun tradition! Christmas isn't the only holiday to exist.

I also feel like, if you are gonna write Black characters who celebrate Christmas, look up some Black Christmas traditions? Many Black households have different ways of celebrating. Look into it.

Asking domestic violence victims why wouldn't they leave is evil when in reality many of them do not have the funds to leave. Where would they even go? Many leaves then the kindness runs out and they have to go back to their abusers for survival. Advocating for universal housing and healthcare is advocating for victims.

chronically ill black lesbian needs to pay for continued health care; she and trans lesbian gf need funds for bills as well after getting covid and missing work

since I've made that post I've gotten another notice from the hospital for $633 more, have called them a ton of times and had a therapist appt that cost $104, a flat tire that set me back another $60, and our final aircon window unit went out and needs to be replaced. Thanks to missing so much of work while having covid we're also $279 short on rent.

For some reason people stopped talking about autonomous zones after the CHAZ was shut down, so most people don’t realize that both George Floyd Square in Minneapolis and the James Talib-Dean Memorial Encampment in Philadelphia are still autonomous 3 months later

They’re also both facing regular threats of invasion and could really use visibility and support. The cops are expecting to be able to clear these places out without anyone else noticing
