Trans people in the UK have been prosecuted for "rape by deception" since 2012 when a gender questioning 18 year old trans boy (at the time named only as Justine McNally) was sentenced to three years in prison and put on the sex offenders register for having a consensual sexual relationship with a one year younger cis girl. (as a note: the age of consent in the UK is 16, which is when they began the sexual relationship, having previously been in a romantic relationship).
This was later reduced to 9 months in prison, suspended for 2 years, but he is still permanently on the sex offenders register.
Kyran Lee and Chris Wilson are both trans men sentenced in 2014 and 2013 respectfully, both also for sex by deception with cis women or cis girls, with both placed on the sexual offenders register with Kyran given a suspended sentence and Chris given community service. In this case Chris had socially transitioned and Kyran had medically and surgically transitioned.
No people should be prosecuted under these laws for not revealing their birth gender.

Imagine saying that capitalism "rewards hard work" while the single mother who does three jobs is starving and the landlord who does nothing except having things is a billionaire.

Capitalism promotes hyperindividualism and yet prevents genuine individualism (the ability to self-actualize) from actually being possible for many people.
Poverty, homelessness, wage-labor, lack of reliable healthcare and education, an unhealthy environment etc. are all things that prevent people from having agency over their lives and from actualizing their full potential.

Sometimes when a trans woman does something mildly #problematique, you gotta just learn to let it slide or just talk to her about it in private because you know that there are hordes of #leftists who are just salivating at the chance to isolate a trans woman from her community

During a recent televised debate, Rep. Jasmine Crockett took Mike Huckabee down over his interpretation of Christian morality.
Jasmine Crockett:
“Governor Huckabee, what does Jesus say in Matthew 25 about how we’ll be judged?”
Mike Huckabee:
He hesitated, mumbling something about sheep and goats.
Crockett: “That’s right. The final judgment. Would you like me to quote it?”
Before Huckabee could respond, she read directly from her phone:
“I was hungry and you gave me food.
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.
I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
I was sick and you looked after me.
I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
Crockett continued:
“Jesus doesn’t mention abortion.
He doesn’t mention same-sex marriage.
He doesn’t bring up tax rates or culture war issues.
The only criteria Jesus gives for heaven or hell are how we treat the poor, the sick, the immigrant, the prisoner.”
She looked Huckabee in the eye:
“So, Governor, if you oppose every single one of those policies, what does that say about your understanding of Christian morality?”
Huckabee tried to respond, but Crockett pressed on:
Matthew 19:21 – “Sell all your possessions and give to the poor.”
Luke 4:18 – “Proclaim good news to the poor, freedom for the prisoners.”
Matthew 8 – Jesus heals a man with leprosy, touching someone society called unclean.
“You say I’m not a real Christian because I support feeding programs for kids, universal health care, and immigration reform. But Jesus said those are the exact things that determine salvation.”
Then came the knockout:
“Jesus never said, ‘I was a wealthy corporation and you gave me tax breaks.’
He never said, ‘I was a gun manufacturer and you protected my profits.’
He never said, ‘I was a pharmaceutical company and you let me charge whatever I wanted.’”
Crockett concluded: “Your version of faith asks whether someone deserves help before offering it. But Jesus never said, ‘I was hungry and you checked if I had a job first.’”
She quoted Isaiah 58, Proverbs 31, and Micah 6:8, then addressed Huckabee’s final attempt to challenge her.
Huckabee: “But you still support abortion and same-sex marriage. You’re picking and choosing.”
Crockett: “The word abortion appears zero times in the Bible. Same-sex marriage, also zero. But caring for the poor? Dozens of times. Welcoming immigrants? Direct commands. Healing the sick? Over and over again. So if someone’s cherry-picking, Governor, it isn’t me.”
She closed with this: “You’ve spent your whole career telling Christians they have to choose between their politics and their faith. But maybe the real question is this: How can someone claim to follow Jesus while opposing everything Jesus said?”

"corporations don't have a soul" "machines don't have a soul" neither do humans. I won't convert to your religion. Think up a new argument.

there are hundreds of liberal influencers being literally paid to parrot democratic party talking points with contracts forbidding them from disclosing that their content is paid propaganda.
every accusation is a confession. years of liberals calling every police abolitionist and anti-zionist "psy-ops," get fucking real.

How should I react to hostility and disdain regarding my own personal detransition? Ive gotten very mixed reactions but I’ve lost quite a few former friends and/or mutual who have tried to ‘cancel’ me to some extent, ie claiming that calling myself a detransitioner / saying that I WAS transgender, but not anymore, that my sense of identity shifted but that doesn’t make that point in my life didn’t matter or was not real to me at the time, is apparently a red flag and makes me ‘alt-right’ - pft, I’m an anarcho-communist and very into lgbtqia+ and mental illness activism, i am very much not right-wing in the slightest. But it does sting to have that said about me from former friends and those that I respected? It isn’t contradictory to be genderqueer and a detransitioner, both of those are my lived experiences, and my former identity as a transgender guy is still important to me, even if I don’t identify with it anymore. I might not identify as transgender personally anymore but I think that I still have a place in the community, right? I cannot go back to just being perceived as cisgender anyways, I’m very androgynous-looking and had been on androgenizing HRT for 5.5 years, had a few surgeries, etc, and I still kind of like they/them best. I want to be a gnc girl who is also genderqueer and uses they/them. I LIKE being ftmtf. I LIKE detransitioning. I LIKE the changes from testosterone, mostly, aside from the facial hair, although I’m off it now. Maybe some day I will go back on it, but I don’t know. Depends what I want later on. I just don’t want to be a traitor. I don’t know how to be ok with the fact that some people I at one point cared for are openly gossiping about it and perceiving me in that way. Or like it’s sad. I’m not sad. I’m happy. I am doing what I want for myself, I just would like it if others could want it for me, too.
Frankly, a lot of people are completely ignorant and hateful toward detransitioners because they find the possibility of detransition threatening. Their emotional response to it eerily mirrors the cis people who find the prospect of themselves transitioning to be so frightening that they lash out at anyone trans.
I don't think you can reason with people who aren't listening to you and don't care to find out that they've got things wrong. All that you can do is stand proudly in your truth and not let them silence you or squeeze you out of trans spaces in your broader community. Don't worry about winning them over, work on disengaging from their trash opinions entirely.
There are SO many detransitioners among the trans community, detransition *is* transition, it relies upon the exact same healthcare and legal and social supports, a majority of detransitioners are strong advocates for the trans and nonbinary communities, and anyone who tells you otherwise is being a fucking hateful idiot about a subject that is not in their lane.
Unfortunately there are many out there. We just gotta keep speaking with our whole chests in vocal support for detransitioners at every opportunity.
Your former friends' rhetoric is exclusionism, much like what ace people, poly people, and other contested identities within the queer umbrella face, so you may find some natural allies along those lines. You can probably also find a lot more detransition-friendly folks among enby communities, and in trans affirming bisexual and wlw spaces compared to, say, cis gay spaces or trans men's spaces. Older trans people seem to be friendlier to detransition as well in my experience, because they've seen it all and know that in enough time, all our transitions wind up looking a whole lot the same no matter where we started -- older trans men and women both using hormone creams for sexual function, etc.
I'm sorry your friends were trash. Please see my guide on what to do if you are cancelled for a bit of advice on how to deal with the criticism. You belong in trans and queer spaces and your story matters. Thanks for being here.
