imagine that despite having moved away months ago, that town is still the only place you dream of. thankfully, you have not run into those you feared in these dreams.

imagine youre dreaming. the dream is nearly indistinguishable from reality. nothing out of ordinary is happening. it feels like months have passed. when you do wake up, the date on your phone reads january twenty-third, two thousand and seventeen.

imagine it is a warm august night. youre lying in bed as usual, but for once your bed isn't made out of giant branches and leaves and is located in your bedoom instead of the boiler room.

go feral on a person or two. let loose. do not mind the darkness closing in on you or the immense amount of spiders crawling on your feet

waking up after weeks of radio silence is normal. do not concern yourself with the fact that the sun is gone

imagine youre sitting outside. youre not feeling too well, so youre taking a breather. the day isnt even windy, but suddenly you feel a strong gust of wind on your face, especially on your lips. you feel much better now.

imagine it is two in the morning and you are just lying on the cool tile floor of your bathroom. the sunlight is beaming in through the window and the shadows of the spiders have never looked prettier. you close your eyes for a moment, and suddenly there's more spiders. it seems the moment was actually fortyfive weeks and the bathroom is the room of the spiders now. you seem to have no more organs, but the spiders keep your blood pumping.

imagine youre walking to the store. it is very windy on the bridge you have to cross to get there. stay as close to the cars as possible. the wind knocking you on the road is less risky than it knocking you over the railing and throwing you into the deep and large river underneath.

imagine youre at school. the building was abandoned years ago and never visited. you place a dollar bill at the side entrance meant for those younger than nine. the doors of the school open and a stack of papers are forced in your hands. you just bought this abandoned school for a dollar, which is slightly more than what it was originally sold for.

imagine youre walking in the forest behind the bus stop. there's not much to say about this place, other than you have to fall off of the cliff. its for your own good.

imagine we are on a soccer field in the forest. except its not a soccer field, its a skating field now. its november and its so cold. you can feel the ice cracking underneath our feet. i fall into the ice. the ground underneath, which is solid dirt in the summertime, is gone, and all you see is nothing at all. you carry on walking as if nothing happened.
in the summertime, a flower blooms in the field. you pick it, and i return as if i was never gone.

imagine we are lying on my roof. its metal and it burns our bodies and it hurts like a bitch but we dont mind. the sun already blinded us both because we forgot our sunglasses indoors. you hear a loud thud. someone fell off the roof, and youre not sure if it was you or me.
