Zine Submissions Are Open!
Contributor submissions for the NSFW edition of We Go Together Zine are open. The theme for this special NSFW volume is Mirrorverse!
We will not be running a period of “applications” for the zine; instead, we offer a period of open submissions for anyone who wishes to participate. Submissions close AUGUST 31st.
INFO & GUIDELINES: https://sponeszine.carrd.co/#nsfwsubmissios (*some pages and information are still under construction and will be updated soon.)
SUBMIT HERE: https://forms.gle/md7vEHV84WitCKuN9
Additional resources will be linked below, including the Style Guide that written works should be formatted to and our Submissions Guidelines.
PLEASE NOTE: We have updated these guidelines to include two new statements regarding submissions in the future. They read:
Deadlines While in the past we have extended the deadline when we have not received enough submissions, we will not be doing this for future issues. If a theme does not receive enough submissions, that issue will be canceled. Extending the deadline means shifting the timeline for both editors and graphic designers, and many members of our team are unable to change their schedules last minute. We don't want to put this burden on our team.
Edits We back our editors. Before submitting to the Zine, understand that you are opting in to edits being made to your work. Our goal is for your work to be published in the most polished condition. While we want to be told if our committee has misplaced an italic, placed a section break in the wrong spot, etc., we will not accept arguments against our spelling and grammar edits. As a reminder, we ask that your work be edited and beta read prior to submission to reduce our editors’ workload. If you are not comfortable with edits being made to your work, we kindly advise you to reconsider submitting your work to our Zine.

cross posting this question because i think i have more reach here?
assume that you cannot fly/bus/train/other. it could be on your own or with a group depending on your preference, just think of your individual ideal road trip parameters. you can also switch off drivers as often as you want, it’s not just you doing all 24 hours. it is 24 hours in a car, driving or not.
#totally depends on the purpose of the trip!#ive done the 20 hour drive from mn to nyc a couple times#when it was with my bf and our cat and our stuff to move we did it in 2 days#but when it was my college roommates after graduation for fun we did it over 3 days with a ton of detours and stops#both were more enjoyable than the 24 hour straight bus ride when i did that trip on a coach bus

Half the country, screaming crying frothing at the mouth: NYC is going to be even more of a degenerate hellhole, put under sharia law by a Muslim socialist from Africa!

Make Up Your Mind
by comradetoad
Rating: Explicit Fandoms: Star Trek: The Original Series Relationship: Leonard "Bones" McCoy/Spock Characters: Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Spock (Star Trek), James T. Kirk, Zarabeth (Star Trek) Words: 10,943 Chapters: 5/5
"Well either choke me or cut my throat, make up your mind."
McCoy learns something about himself early in the 5-year mission, and tries to convince himself it doesn't matter. Events (and Spock) conspire to test that theory - it could mean more to the two officers than either had imagined.
OR: I wrote the porn with (limited) feelings Spones breathplay fic I wanted to see in the world.

"If I jumped every time a red light went off around here, I'd end up talking to myself," McCoy says, while talking to himself, is one of my favorite McCoy lines of all time, it's so funny LMAO

So I finished Enterprise (well, I skipped a lot of s3 because I value my sanity), it had its moments and I'm glad I watched most of it but it definitely is not the vibe I'm looking for in my star trek generally. But that does mean I no longer have a default trek show to watch! So should I rewatch VOY or TNG? Try Disco? I've (re)watched TOS, DS9, SNW, and LD pretty recently

My dad would have been such a prolific Poster, found this incredible letter from 1983 to his little sister and her husband, in his own words "mutilating God's word with my computer" by writing a dirt bike version of The Lord Is My Shepherd psalm at 1:30 AM because he couldn't sleep:

[transcript below]
July 1, 1983
Dear Elder Younger Sibling and Leroy,
Aren't word processors wonderful?
Since I am cranking out some letters, I thought you might like one too. I thought I might share my Grand Canyon experiences of last week. It was part my vacation in which I went biking with friends in San Diego, then to Phoenix, and the canyon.
The compulsion of having to read something before going to sleep drove me to pick up a Gideon's bible on the Thursday nite after biking out in the desert. I thought, this ought to put me to sleep quickly. So, in looking at the handy topic index, I noticed the 23rd psalm was listed under the heading of weariness. So instead of drifting pleasantly off to sleep, I found myself at 1:30 AM, after dirt biking all evening, driving 200 miles, running 4 miles, busily mutilating God's word with my computer as follows:
My bike is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 It maketh me to lie down in the brown deserts: it carryth me beside the still waters. 3 It restoreth my soul: it leadeth me in the paths on the high mountains for the sake of it. 4 Yea, though I ride through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thy rod and thy piston they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a six pack of beer for me in presence of my friends: though anointest my chain with oil: my tank runneth over. 6 Surely power and speed shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will ride on the trails of the RV parks for ever.
#psalm 23#father's day#people are the same!!#grief#because I hate I'm only learning these things about him now it's too late to talk to him about it
