So funny how there was so much speculation on silksong development struggles and it turns out there were no struggles, team cherry had actually reached a state of game development nirvana where they were no longer pestered by earthly desires such as releasing the game

Annoying that dairy products are demonized as Unnatural and Disgusting when it's actually kinda neat that humans figured out a way to fulfill omnivorous nutritional requirements without killing any animals (and populations historically dependent on dairy even evolved lactase persistence!). This is biopunk to me

Corridors
Legend and Wind ran down the steep corridor as fast as they could, already panting heavily. Behind them was a square block sliding down, not leaving the tiniest bit of space in said corridor to dodge it, all while gaining more speed every second. “Oh fuck! If there’s no turn coming soon, we will – ha – end up as pancakes!”, Wind cursed. “Shut up and keep running!”, Legend urged him on in return. They were both getting tired and there seemed to be no way out of this trap, they had both stepped in. After another few seconds down, in which the block came even closer, Wind spotted something. “There! There’s a wall! And – and on the right there’s a turn!”, he panted exited. The Veteran looked forward. The Sailor was right! There was a turn coming up in front of them! Right there at the end of the corridor. A slight smile appeared at the corner of his lips. So, there was a way out of this for both of them! “I don’t think we will be able to – to take it – ha – if we keep running like this!”, Wind yelled, slight panic in his voice. “We have to – keep this speed up – hah – or the block will – will get us!” “We won’t – we won’t make it!”, the panic in Wind grew, the closer they came to the wall, the block right on their heels. “Keep going!” “We are going to die!” Then, just before he was about to hit the wall in front of them, he got pushed to the right. He fell hard on his side and before he could even look back at Legend, there was a loud bang. And then nothing. Wind sat in dead silence. All he could do was stare at the block which now sat flat against the wall. Why hadn’t he seen this coming? Sure, the Vet was kind of rude a lot of the time and liked to tease the others a lot, but deep down he was just like the rest of them. A Link. A self-sacrificial idiot! Tears started to form in his eyes, as the realisation kicked in. Legend, their Veteran, was dead. His lips quivered. Then he saw something move in the right corner of his eyes. He whirled around, sword ready in his hand. And paused. There was a painting on the wall. A moving painting, which looked a lot like Legend. He lowered his sword, staring at the painting in pure disbelieve, as it rose of the wall and became three dimensional. “Phew, that was close!”, Legend sighed and looked over to Wind. “Are you okay?” “You… You are alive!” Before Legend could answer, the young Sailor had flung himself around his chest, hugging him as hard as he could. “I thought you were dead!” The Vet looked down at him, as the younger hero buried his face into the front of his tunic. He petted his head lightly and said: “Oh, you know me. I have an item for everything.” Then he held his bracelet up in front of Winds face, who let go of him to get a better look. “That’s what this thing is for? I thought it was just decorative.” “None of my jewellery is just decorative. All of it has some magical properties.” Wind looked up into Legends face. “Why didn’t you say you could do something like that?” “And then? Was I supposed to leave you alone in a situation like that?” “No… You really did save me back there.” The Sailor gave the Veteran a big smile. “Thanks for that, by the way.” “You are welcome.”, Legend smiled back. Then he looked into the corridor they had fled into. “And now let’s get out of here. Shall we?”

The Vase
After examining the hoard - or collection how its owner referred to it - in Legends basement the chain had moved into the living area of the house.
While everyone else was making conversation, mainly with Ravio, the new or old roommate of Legend, Link or rather Four was taking a look around. In comparison to the messy basement the living area was rather kept well and cozy. If not a bit dusty, since the veteran didn`t use the house that often.
His gaze fell on a vase with a rather odd shape. It had a mostly cylindrical shape, but the top was a bit more… bulky and rounded and the bulk was getting thinner towards the top where the opening was. At the bottom there were two rounded shapes giving the vase a rather stable stand. The glazing was reddish at the top and blended into a nice tone of beige for the rest. And the cylindrical middle part, which was rather long, had some embossed decorations in the form of… Okay, those were definitely veins! Legend had a cock shaped vase in his living room right in front of the window for everyone to see! He didn’t even put flowers in there to cover up the shape!
Four came a bit closer. After a short look over his shoulder to make sure no one was watching him, he picked up the vase to take a closer look at it.
It had something written into the bottom:
“From Tulip to Link
I will never forget you”
Four opened his mouth. Then he closed it again. No, there were some things he didn’t need to, he didn’t want to know about his new companions and THIS was one of them. He put the vase back to its place and decided to not ask questions about this. EVER!
A few years prior.
Ravio stood in Legends living room holding up the most atrocious looking co- ah, vase. He looked it all over and then saw the writing on the bottom.
“What the?!”
He turned around to Legend shooting him a scandalised look.
“Link, what on earth is that?!”
Legend looked back at him, one eyebrow raised and a grin on his face.
“Oh, wouldn’t you like to know?”

I submit to you that the most iconic feature of any animal is either unlikely or impossible to fossilize.
If all we had of wolves were their bones we would never guess that they howl.
If all we had of elephants were fossils with no living related species, we might infer some kind of proboscis but we’d never come up with those ears.
If all we had of chickens were bones, we wouldn’t know about their combs and wattles, or that roosters crow.
We wouldn’t know that lions have manes, or that zebras have stripes, or that peacocks have trains, that howler monkeys yell, that cats purr, that deer shed the velvet from their antlers, that caterpillars become butterflies, that spiders make webs, that chickadees say their name, that Canada geese are assholes, that orangutans are ginger, that dolphins echolocate, or that squid even existed.
My point here is that we don’t know anything about dinosaurs. If we saw one we would not recognize it. As my evidence I submit the above, along with the fact that it took us two centuries to realize they’d been all around us the whole time.

I have a AO3 account.
There's not much on it at the moment, but I plan on changing that.
As I started writing again, I realised there's still a old fic on my computer which I haven't uploaded yet. It’s a Dragon Ball Z fic.
At the moment I am writing a lot of Linked Universe Shorts and I also have some general Zelda fics planned, since I'm replaying some old Zelda games at the moment.
