Me when watching the show and I look at bareum suspiciously since ep3 AND I WAS RIGHT

I'm using some same hashtags cuz the show made me WRITE DOWN THEORIES ON MY NOTES APP and made me question myself haha

i had a feeling the writer would torment its main character. it was actually ridiculous that bareum was this INSANELY nice guy, he was TOO nice for his own good that it felt rather... dumb

The only thing that I don't like about this show is, THEY DIDN'T SHOW BAREUM IN THIS OPENING AND POSTER SEQUENCE ACTING IN THE SAID SHOW. I REALLY WANTED TO SEE HIM IN AN ALL BLACK TURTLENECK WITH SLICK BACK HAIR 😭😭😭

YES THIS IS WHAT I WANTED. This show is the only one that used the amnesia trope well, not to prolong the series, but to convey the show's message well!

I'm just glad that I watched Mouse in 2025 which I have more braincells now to understand it, and grasp and appreciate the show fully. Since I probably won't before since it was airing weekly and my mind can't hold of information for longer than a week

I've been seeing comments saying the drama was prolonged unnecessarily by making Bareum forget his memories but I think people just weren't aware of the goal of the scriptwriter.

The story is about Bareum coming to develop a conscience and feel regret for his crimes. It wasn't enough for him to go to jail (as we see with the head hunter and the other psychopaths). That's the point of the story. It's not about catching a killer.... It's about the killer himself and the lives he affected both.

Without the amnesia or the surgery (which I initially struggled with), there would have been no avenue for a psychopath to have feelings of guilt.

I cried so hard for Sung Yohan at ep20 because of this fr, he deserved so much better. Sorry Yohan for accusing you at first TT

honestly, i feel so bad for yohan. going from a sunny, genius child to an expressionless, empty man all because of his life being controlled by everybody other than him. it hurts when you remember that the boy who ran fumblingly through the rain to save bong yi ended up dying trying to save han kook while having lived a life being taunted for being a serial killer’s son (which he wasn’t) and having only one best friend and one lover in his entire life. i seriously hope that at the end of the series it’s revealed that yohan wasn’t the moojin serial killer so that he can properly get the respect he deserves.
